Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Wednesday 13th August where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge
Race 1
BLACK EAGLE should give punters a good start to the day. He has shown good improvement in each of his outings to date. The son of Rafeef showed good speed over this C&D last time before getting caught late by Blind Date. He is a progressive type and unless one of the first timers have ability, he should take a power of beating.
SENDAI is an unraced son of Danon Platina from the Justin Snaith yard with Muzi Yeni in the saddle. He is related to five-time winner Hope Is Power. If not in need of the run, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances.
PRINCE OF EGYPT finished 5.75 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms and he may have to settle for the same result. The son of Vercingetorix is capable of finishing in the placings.
Race 2
POMP IT UP ran a creditable race on debut over 1000m on this course. He had to be steadied at the 400m mark that day, but stayed on to finish third. The son of Danon Platina would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1200m. With the natural improvement that is expected, he may be the one to side with.
IKO IKO has decent recent form lines to his name. He moved up well over this C&D last time before getting outrun late. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.
DAY IN DAY OUT is better than his last start as he did not act in the going. He gets the blinkers fitted for this contest which may do the trick. He is a horse with scope and would not be a shock winner.
Race 3
GIMME WHAT I WANT ran a decent race on debut over this C&D. She understandably raced green, but stayed on at the finish. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight would have gained from the experience. She may be at her best over further, but looks to have ability and can win a race of this nature.
PITERAQ has run two fair races to date. She stayed on when third over this C&D last time. The daughter of Hawwwaam is a progressive type and she is one of the leading contenders.
CALANQUE is an unraced daughter of Gimmethegreenlight from the Eric Sands yard with Craig Zackey in the saddle. She is related to four- time winner Gimme’s Lassie. If not in need of this outing, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her and the other unraced entrants.
Race 4
SOUTH OF FRANCE made the expected natural improvement when third over this C&D last time. She raced from just off the pace and stayed on at the finish. She returns from a 13-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. If not in need of the run, she should be the one to beat.
QUEEN REGENT found one too good in the form of Wish List over this C&D last time. The daughter of Querari has scope and she should throw out a big challenge to the top choice.
LA LANDONNE ran a fair race when 2.5 lengths behind the second selection on debut. The daughter of Legislate would have gained from the experience and she should make the natural improvement.
Race 5
TURBO TWENTY is better than his post maiden form suggests. He has dropped in the ratings and drops in class. The son of Canford Cliffs gets the services of capable 4kgs claiming Apprentice Dezahn Louw and he jumps from a good draw of four. He should get a good run in transit with a likely fast pace and can return to winning ways.
NOTE TO SELF was a shock winner on debut over 1200m. The manner in which he finished off his race that day was eye-catching. The son of Futura takes on stronger, but he could be anything and may be up to the task at hand.
MISS NEW YORK has fair recent form lines to her name. She gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Mxolisi Mbuto which should assist her cause. From her good draw of two, she would not be a shock winner.
Race 6
POETIC PRINCESS has finished fourth in her three starts since winning her maiden. She stayed on at the finish over this C&D last time. Apprentice Dezahn Louw takes the 4kgs off her back and she can notch up her second-career victory.
ESCARPMENT won a game race over this C&D last time. He received a three- pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and should be the first male past the post.
IN A TIMELY MANNER ran on powerfully when winning on debut over 1200m on this course. He returns from an 11-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. The drop to 1000m may not be ideal, but he could be anything and can remain unbeaten.
Race 7
THE US OF A has won his last two starts with ease. He quickened up well and drew clear of the opposition over 1000m last time. The son of The United States may still be ahead of the handicapper, and he can bring up the hat-trick.
ELUSIVE WINTER finished 1.5 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today which is enough to turn the form around. However, THE US OF A won easier than the official margin suggests and he may still have the upper hand.
NORDIC QUEST was unlucky not to have won her last start as she had to be switched for running room at the 100m mark. She would have come on from the run and will strip much fitter. With a bit of luck in running, she should give the males a run for their money.
Race 8
WISH LIST made the expected natural improvement when winning her last start over 1200m. She showed a good turn of foot and won a lot easier than the official margin suggests. The daughter of Legislate takes on stronger, but she has plenty of scope and can follow up with another victory.
KLEINZEE is better than her last start as she was reported to be not striding out. She returns from a 13-week break which may have done her the world of good. If not in need of the run, she should be involved in the fight to the finish.
RAHHABBA raced from a handy position over this C&D last time, but found one too good in the form of Swiatek. Apprentice Dezahn Louw takes the 4kgs off her back and from pole position, she should be right there at the finish.
Race 9
CHANCE ENCOUNTER has produced two good runs to date. He showed speed over 1200m last time, but found one too good in the form of Saudi Cat. The son of Vercingetorix is bred to love the rise to 1400m. With a bit of luck from his awkward draw of seven, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
GALLIC FORGE was running on when third over this C&D last time. He is having his peak run today and from his good draw of three, he should be involved in the fight to the finish.
FUTURE FREE finished 1.65 lengths behind the second selection last time. He should have finished closer that day as he had no luck in running. Muzi Yeni retains the ride and if all goes according to plan, he should be right there
