CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS stayed on when third over this C&D last time. She receives her sex allowance and can earn another cheque for her patrons. 

Race 2

MASTER SILVANO should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung inwards in the final 150m. He finished third in his penultimate run over this distance on the polytrack. Sean Veale steps back into the saddle and in this line-up, he may be the one to side with. 

BOARDWALK BREEZE has good recent form lines to his credit. He finished third in his only attempt over this C&D. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces. 

SUSURRANDO is an unraced son of Captain Of All from the Dean Kannemeyer stable with Craig Zackey in the saddle. If not too green in running, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to him and the other first timer.

Race 3

CLINTOSTAR showed good improvement when second in his last start over 1400m on the polytrack. He was running on too late behind Deandre’s Dream that day. He is a progressive type and it is encouraging that Callan Murray retains the ride. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners. 

FLAG CHAMP ran a fair race when third over 1400m last time. It was reported that he raced with his tongue over the bit that day. The son of Canford Cliffs will love the rise to 1600m and with luck in running, he should pose a threat. 

LIGHTNINGFORK ran a fair race over this distance on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He will strip much fitter and can finish in the placings. 

Race 4

CAPRICIOUS MISS showed very good improvement when second in her last start over 1400m on the polytrack. She lost a length leaving the start and stayed on at the finish. She drops back to 1200m and jumps from pole position. If getting away to a clean start, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure. 

DI ROSA stayed on when fourth over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. She finished second in her penultimate run over this distance on the polytrack. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces. 

CHERICHERILADY is having her first run for trainer Paul Gadsby. She carries a handy galloping mass of 55kgs and with luck from the widest draw, she can finish in the placings.

 

 

Race 5

FATE OF FORTUNE has good recent form lines to his credit. He raced from a handy position over 1200m last time and tried hard all the way to the line. He gets the services of 4kgs claiming apprentice Damyan Pillay which will assist his cause. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he should be competitive. 

LIONS EYE ran a fair race over 1200m on the polytrack last time. He finished 2.05 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate run. He is 1kg worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result. 

ONE IRISH ROVER moved up well last time but found one too good in the form of stable companion, Lou Lou The Legend. He jumps from a good draw of four and merits healthy respect. 

Race 6

THE MASK is better than his recent form suggests. He found the 1000m on the sharp side at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. The manner in which he has been finishing off his races suggests that he will be suited to 1400m. The son of Gimmethegreenlight has dropped in the ratings and takes a drop in class. From his good draw of two, he would not be a shock winner. 

BRAVE VOYAGER‘S last two starts have been good. He finished second in his penultimate outing over this C&D. He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back. 

MC DAZZLER finished 0.1 lengths behind DOUBLE OLYMPIC last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

Race 7

HAPPY ANALIA showed speed over this C&D last time, tried hard but found one too good in the form of Vision To Achieve. She has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. Apprentice Dezahn Louw takes the 4kgs off her back which will assist her cause. The daughter of Erupt can go one better in this line-up. 

AYUWI YUWI finished 1.6 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 7kgs worse off at the weights today and may battle to turn the form around. 

MISS KANSAS won a good race when shedding her maiden tag over this C&D last time. She takes on stronger, but has scope and should be up to the task at hand. 

Race 8

WICCAN WARRIOR finished 0.05 lengths behind LICENCE TO THRILL last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Apprentice Dezahn Louw takes the 4kgs off his back and he may be the horse to side with. 

LICENCE TO THRILL won a game race over this C&D last time. He received a four-pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect. 

SOHO STAR fought hard for his last victory over this C&D. Apprentice Mxolisi Mbuto takes the 4kgs off his back. He meets a similar line-up this afternoon and can follow up with another victory. 

Race 9

LUNELUCK showed good improvement in his last start over this C&D. He is having his peak run today and will be cherry-ripe. If confirming his recent improvement, he can return to winning ways in this field. 

APEX PREDATOR ran a good race when third over this C&D last time. He returns from a 22-week break which may have done him the world of good. He drops back in class and if not in need of the run, he should be right there. 

KWAGGA BLITZ showed good speed over this C&D last time, but found one too good in the form of Gorgeous Guy. He is likely to race on the speed and merits healthy respect
