LOVE HER MADLY is better than her last start. She returns from a 14-week break which may have done her the world of good. If finding the form of her debut run, she should pose a massive threat.

INSIDE VOICE produced a promising debut effort over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. She took time to find her feet but finished off her race well. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should be involved at the finish.

Race 2

DAY IN DAY OUT was green in running on debut but stayed on to finish fourth. It must be noted that Military Command has come out and won a feature since. He would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1200m. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.

RHYDIAN has been costly to follow in his last three starts in KZN. He returns from a lengthy 42-week break during which time he was gelded. If not in need of the run, he should be competitive.

OCEAN SKY ran a good race when second in a work riders race on debut. He was green in running but stayed on nicely at the finish. Muzi Yeni is booked to ride and he should make the natural improvement.

Race 3

TRUE HORIZON finished 1.1 lengths behind TAMBOURINE MAN last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. JP van der Merwe retains the ride and she can return to winning ways.

SUN DAZED finished 0.4 lengths behind MONT LOISIR last time. He is 1kg better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

TAMBOURINE MAN showed good speed when winning his last start over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. He has won twice, finished second twice and third four times from 11 starts over this C&D. He is in a good space and can bring up the hat-trick.

Race 4

PINK PIGEON tried hard when second behind the classy Roccapina last time. She returns from a 20-week break during which time she changed stables. She will love the rise to 1200m and if not in need of the run, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

TANNERON’S last three starts have been good. She will love the return to this course and is one of the leading contenders.

LUCY ROCKET won a good race in her last start over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. Devin Ashby retains the ride and the combination merit healthy respect.

Race 5

LADY LOOK ALIKE has finished fourth in her last three starts against stronger company. The daughter of Var has dropped in the ratings and in class. She will be mowing down the frontrunners and can return to winning ways.

TRES CHIC’S last two starts have been fair. She has won once and finished second once from four starts over this distance. She is back against her own sex and can go close.

IM THE BUZZ was doing her work late when third over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. She does have a wide draw to overcome but gets the services of Andrew Fortune who will give her all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

MAJOR MASTER is better than his last start in the Grade 3 City Of Cape Town Politician Stakes. He returns from a 12-week break, during which time he was gelded. The son of Master Of My Fate has ability and if fit, he should notch up his third-career victory.

WORLD OF PLEASURE set the pace over 1400m last time, fought hard but was caught in the shadow of the post by Captain West. He meets a similar type of field today and with luck in running, he can go one better.

SONG TO THE MOON is better than his last start over 1400m. He returns from a 12-week break which may have done him the world of good. On previous form, he should fight out the finish.

Race 7

ENCHANTING CHOICE raced wide into the straight last time but the manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. She has won once and finished third four times from seven starts over this C&D. She has dropped in the ratings and from pole position, she can return to winning ways.

PENTOLINA should have finished closer to the winner last time as she received a bump at the 500m mark and hung outwards. She is having her peak run and will be cherry-ripe. If keeping on a straight line, she should run a big race.

POCKET DIAL was doing her best work late when third over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. She has won once and finished third once from three starts over this distance. She will strip much fitter and can earn another cheque.

Race 8

BEER WITH THE BOYS has produced three good runs since winning his maiden over this C&D. He takes a drop in class and carries a big mass of 64kgs. Muzi Yeni is booked to ride from a good draw of two and he may be the one to side with in this field.

ALL ABOUT RONNIE finished 0.6 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today which is enough to turn the form around. However, his wide draw is an obvious concern. With luck in running, he can show.

MOHANDAS stayed on when third over 1800m last time. He has won once, finished second twice and third three times from nine starts over this distance. From pole position, he can finish in the placings.

Race 9

BEL CANTO DREAM was an impressive winner when shedding his maiden tag over 1400m on this course. He raced from a handy position, quickened up well and drew clear. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. He takes on stronger, but has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.

KING’S QUEST was a tad disappointing over this C&D last time. He is better than that run and on previous form, he should pose a massive threat.

TOUCHDOWN ran on well when second over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from his wide draw and will be running on.

Race 10

COUNTRY TIME stayed on when fifth over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. She has won once, finished second five times and third once from 14 starts over this C&D. 4kgs claiming apprentice Sifisokuhle Bungane is booked to ride which will assist her chances. If finding the form of her penultimate run, she can go close.

OVER THE ATLANTIC finished 0.5 lengths behind ELECTRIC FEELS last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

ELECTRIC FEELS has very good consistent form lines to her credit. Two of her four career victories have come over this distance. The daughter of William Longsword merits healthy respect
