Race 1
ONE PATH has produced three good runs to date. She raced from a handy position over 1400m on the turf last time, moved up well but was caught late by Ladyofdistinction. The daughter of One World is having her peak run and should be cherry-ripe. If seeing out the mile, she should take a power of beating in this line-up.
NAUTICAL LANDING is better than her last start over this C&D. Her four efforts prior to that outing were good. Tristan Godden steps back into the saddle and she may be the one to fill the exacta spot.
AMBER EYES was disappointing over 1400m on the turf last time. She ran an improved race over 1400m on this course, in her penultimate effort. If finding the form of that race, she can earn a cheque for her patrons.
Race 2
L’ULTIMO set the pace over 1600m on this course last time before getting caught late by Forest Jump. He won a game race in his penultimate start over this C&D. Rachel Venniker is likely to take him to the front once again and he may be hard to peg back.
ISIKWISHIKWISHI won a good race when shedding his maiden tag over this C&D. The son of Alado takes on stronger, but he has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.
EL DRAQUE is the stable companion of the second selection. It must be noted that the horse that finished second in his last start has come out and won since. The son of Captain Of All will be doing his best work at the finish.
Race 3
STRATHCLYDE has good recent form lines to his credit. He raced from a handy position over 1500m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time and stayed on to finish third. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. Rachel Venniker retains the ride and from pole position, he may be the one to side with.
OFFICER IN COMMAND was not disgraced in the Non-Black Type PinkDrive Michaelmas Handicap last time. He won his penultimate start on this course. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.
SPELLING BEE is better than his last start on the turf. He finished third in his only attempt on this course. On his previous form, he should be involved at the finish.
Race 4
ROYAL SWAN MASTER moved up like a winner over this C&D last time, but was touched off by Positive Attitude. He has won twice and finished second four times from as many starts on this course. If getting away to a clean start, he should return to winning ways.
TROIS TROIS QUATRE finished 1.1 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
SHOEFELLA is a winner of his last three starts. He received an eight-pound penalty for his last victory. The blinkers have done the trick and if seeing out the 1800m, he should be competitive.
Race 5
MVELELO ran a good race when third over 1800m on this course last time. He set the pace that day and fought hard all the way to the line. The son of What A Winter drops back in class and with Muzi Yeni in the saddle, he may be the one to side with.
BANZAI PIPELINE finished 0.55 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
LANDSEER followed up his maiden victory with a good third-place finish over 1600m on this course. The saddle was reported to have slipped in running that day. The son of Lancaster Bomber has ability and he should be involved at the business end.
Race 6
IDEAL GIFT was her own worst enemy over 1900m on the turf last time. She over raced in the early stages and hung outwards in the straight. The daughter of Ideal World has won once and finished third twice from five starts over this C&D. If Deryl Daniels is able to keep her on a straight line, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.
SPRING KISS finished 3.5 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.
WAY TO BURN has run three fair races since winning her maiden. She should have finished closer last time as she was inconvenienced at the 200m mark. Craig Zackey is booked to ride and he may be able to get the best out of her.
Race 7
SAVANTRIX got up where it matters most when winning his last start over 1400m on this course. He has won over this C&D previously. The son of Vercingetorix is drawn widest of all but Sean Veale knows him well and he should give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.
GORGEOUS GUY was a tad disappointing over this distance on the turf last time. If finding the form of his penultimate run, he should throw out a big challenge to the top choice.
BUGALUGS returns from a 10-week break, during which time he was gelded. He tries the polytrack for the first time and if suited, he should give a good account of himself.
Race 8
VISION TO ACHIEVE showed good speed over this distance on the turf last time before getting caught late by Icy Lancaster. She has won once and finished third twice from four starts over this C&D. Sean Veale is likely to utilise her early gate speed from barrier two and may be hard to peg back.
MILLION VOICES stayed on when fourth over 1200m on this course last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She finished 1.8 lengths behind the top choice in her penultimate run. She is 1kg better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.
SWEET JULIA found one too good in the form of Ladybug last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. She tries the blinkers and with a bit of luck from the widest draw, she should be involved
