Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Sunday 4th May where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge
Race 1
SHE’S MY WORLD took the lead at the 100m mark last time before getting caught late by Match That. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Richard Fourie is booked to ride and she can go one better.
BEAUTIFUL ONE produced an encouraging debut effort over 1200m on this course. She showed pace and despite racing green, she stayed on at the finish. The daughter of One World drops to 1000m and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should be competitive.
PARALEGAL finished 1.5 lengths behind the second selection last time. She is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.
Race 2
CLAIR DE LUNE stayed on at the finish when fifth in the Non-Black Type Cape Racing Sales Cape Slipper last time. The daughter of Trippi finished second in her previous two efforts in feature race company. She is back in Maiden Company and with Richard Fourie back in the saddle, she should take a power of beating.
RIKKITIKKITAVI produced an encouraging debut effort over this C&D. She returns from a 15-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. If not in need of this outing, she may be the one to fill the exacta spot.
HERITAGE RIDGE’S last three starts have been good. The manner in which she finished off her last outing suggests that she will love the rise to 1200m. The daughter of Querari must be considered.
Race 3
PAST AND PRESENT has finished second in his last three starts. He stayed on at the finish over 2400m last time. He drops back in distance and the blinkers have been re-fitted. With a bit of luck from his awkward draw of nine, he may be rewarded for consistency.
JET A ONE set the pace over 1700m last time before getting caught late. He finished 2.5 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate run. He is 1kg better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.
MOMENT OF TRUTH finished 3.75 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms and he may have to settle for the same result.
Race 4
AIR RAID quickened up well when winning his last start over 1100m on this course. He received a six- pound penalty for that victory. Aldo Domeyer steps back into the saddle and he can follow up.
ARCTIC WIZARD finished 2.5 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
DUMBLEDORE finished 3.7 lengths behind the top selection in the race referred to above. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.
Race 5
DREAMWORLD raced from a prominent position in the Non-Black Type Cape Racing Sales Cape Slipper last time, but found one too good in the form of Military Command. The son of One World has class about him and may be the one to beat.
NORTH POINT followed up his maiden win with an equally impressive victory over 1000m on this course. The son of William Longsword is getting better with each run and he can bring up the hat-trick.
ALL THE RAGE found betting support when winning on debut over this C&D. The son of Rafeef won easier than the official margin suggests that day. He takes on stronger, but could be anything and may be up to the task at hand.
Race 6
KINDA WONDERFUL stayed on when second in the Listed Schweppes Cape Fillies Classic last time. It must be noted that Give Me Everything has come out and won again since. If not in need of this outing, she can go one better.
TIME FOR LOVE set the pace when second in the Grade 3 Tsogo Sun Summer Fling Stakes last time, but found one too good in the form of Rainbow Lorikeet. She has won twice and finished second twice from five starts over this distance. She is likely to race on the speed from her awkward draw of eight and may be hard to peg back.
BEWARE THE BOMB is better than her last start in the Grade 1 WSB Cape Fillies Guineas. She returns from a 21-week break which may have done her the world of good. If Richard Fourie is able to switch her off early, she should produce an encouraging return.
Race 7
GARRIX won a good race in the Grade 3 Variety Club Mile last time. That was his first start as a gelding. He finished second in his only attempt over this C&D. The son of Vercingetorix jumps from a good draw of two and he should take a power of beating.
BILLY BOWLEGS finished 3.25 lengths behind the top selection last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.
RASCALLION finished 5.25 lengths behind the top choice in the race referred to above. He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights. He has won three times and finished third twice from six starts over this C&D. He jumps from pole position and cannot be ignored.
Race 8
COUNTRY TIME finished 0.9 lengths behind WINTERONTHEGREEN last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. 4kgs claiming apprentice Sifisokuhle Bungane retains the ride and she can return to winning ways.
WINTERONTHEGREEN showed good improvement when second over 1000m on this course last time. The daughter of What A Winter meets a similar line-up this afternoon and she merits healthy respect.
WILLIAM WEST finished 1.5 lengths behind the second selection last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
Race 9
PINK PIGEON tried hard when second behind Roccapina last time. She returns from a 23-week break and is having her first run for the Justin Snaith stable. Richard Fourie rides on her return and if fit, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.
TANNERON finished 0.9 lengths behind CAPTAIN’S DESTINY last time. She is 1kg better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
CAPTAIN’S DESTINY was given a well-timed ride when winning over 1200m on this course last time. She should be ideally suited to this distance. The daughter of William Longsword is in a good space and she merits obvious inclusion.
Race 10
THE US OF A challenged strongly over this C&D last time, but found one too good in the form of Crowned Hornbill. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Richard Fourie steps back into the saddle and he is the horse to beat.
TOUGH TERRAIN was caught late over 1200m on this course last time. He finished 1.05 lengths behind RATTLESNAKE in his penultimate start. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
RATTLESNAKE stayed on when second over this C&D last time. The outside draw does him no favours, but he is in a good space and cannot be ignored.
