The pick of the matches on the midweek Betway Premiership coupon is undoubtedly Wednesday's clash between hig flying Kaizer Chiefs and defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns at Soccer City
Kaizer Chiefs
Chiefs are 3 from 3 in terms of league wins, coming into the midweek program they are second on the log, behind Sekhukhune on goal difference and they are the only 2 sides who can boast a 100% record.
They began their campaign away to Stellenbosch and came away from Athlone with a 2-0 win against a side who played the bulk of the game with 10 men. They followed up with a 1-0 home win over Polokwane City and last week they were also 1-0 winners at home to Richards Bay thanks to a goal from Sirino.
Chiefs have yet to concede and they now welcome back head coach Nasreddine Nabi from leave for family matters ahead of the toughest possible test of their title credentials.
Sundowns
Whilst Chiefs have been focusing purely on the league Sundowns have also been involved in the MTN8 but that run came to an end at the weekend when they lost a penlaty shoot out to Pirates in the second leg of their semi final. Both legs finished 1-1 with Sundowns taking the lead but unable to hold on in the 2 games.

Verdict
Take nothing away from Chiefs who couldn't have started better but the win over Stellies came against 10 men and the home victories came by the minimum margin, one of which came against a side who are bottom of the log.
Sundowns have yet to hit their straps in all fairness and they missed a trick in both cup games against Pirates but thy still get my vote to come out on top here.
