Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 Preview

Posted 18 Aug 09h44

The 10th edition of the Women’s Rugby World Cup kicks off in England on 22 August 2025, running through to the final at Twickenham on 27 September. The tournament has expanded to 16 teams, with heavyweights New Zealand entering as defending champions, hosts England chasing redemption after losing the 2021 final, and Canada and France also among the frontrunners.

It’s the first time all Six Nations teams (England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Wales) will feature together since 2002, joined by teams from around the world including South Africa who will have dreams of a quarter-final place.

This is the sort of tournament that offers opportunity to the punter who is prepared to do some homework as the bookies do not have extensive knowledge of all the teams and players.

The aim of this blog will be to try and find some betting value.
