Race 1

FROM A DISTANCE has finished second in her last two starts. It must be noted that the form of her last outing has been franked. The daughter of Querari should have no issues with the drop to 1000m. If not too green around the turn, she can go one better.

ELIZABETH GRACE showed improvement when third over this distance at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. She should have finished closer as she jumped a patch at the 800m mark. She tries the tongue-tie for the first time and may have more to come.

FLEUR DE VILLE stayed on when third over this distance at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. With a bit of luck in running, she should be competitive.

Race 2

KING’S QUEST produced a promising debut effort over this C&D. He was green in running, but the manner in which he finished off his race that day was eye-catching. The son of Querari would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

CAPTAIN WEST has run two good races to date. It must be noted that the horse that finished second in his last outing has come out and won since. He has plenty of scope and should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

LET IT BE SAID showed massive improvement when second over 1000m last time. He took the lead at the 200m mark before getting caught late. If seeing out the extra 250m on offer, he should be involved in the fight to the finish.

Race 3

ARBITRATION was running on when fourth over this C&D last time. The son of Vercingetorix may be at his best over further, but he has plenty of scope. He is a progressive type and if not too far out of his ground turning for home, he may be the one to beat.

CUMBRE VIEJA is lightly raced with good form lines to his credit. He should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung inwards in the final 200m. He tries the blinkers for the first time which should keep his mind on the task at hand.

PLUS FOUR produced a good effort over 1600m before given a 31-week break. He is the stable elect with Aldo Domeyer in the saddle and if not in need of this outing, he may be hard to peg back.

Race 4

LITTLE SUZIE caught the eye when second on debut over 1250m on this course. She understandably raced green but the manner in which she ran on at the finish was encouraging. The daughter of Trippi would have gained from the experience and will love the extra distance on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, the well-bred filly should take a power of beating.

PRETTY PRECIOUS finished 0.75 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

FESTIVAL CHIC has produced two encouraging outings to date. The daughter of William Longsword will love the rise to 1400m. From her good draw of two, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

Race 5

RADICCHIO was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start over this C&D. He received a two- pound penalty for that victory. The son of Flower Alley is clearly in a good space and from his handy draw of two, he can follow up.

HOLDING THUMBS set the pace over this distance last time, found another kick and won with a ton in hand. He meets a similar line-up this afternoon and should be hard to peg back.

MASTER OF PARIS finished 2.1 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today which is not enough for the tables to be turned but he should finish closer as a result.

Race 6

BLUE BAY finished 3.35 lengths behind GREEN MANDARIN last time. He is 5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He returns from an 18-week break, during which time he would have freshened up. He carries a handy galloping mass of 54kgs and if not in need of this outing, he should be the one to beat.

GREEN MANDARIN is a winner of his last three starts. He returns from a well-deserved 10-week break. If fit and well, he has a good winning chance.

OTTO LUYKEN set the pace over 1950m last time but was outrun late by Flower Of Saigon. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He will be at peak fitness and Aldo Domeyer may be able to get the best out of him.

Race 7

KING PELLES was unlucky not to have won his last start as he was held up for a run at the 150m mark. The son of Duke Of Marmalade should have no issues with the step up to 2000m. With a bit of luck in running, he can notch up his second-career victory.

ALADDIN’S LAMP won a good race in his last start over 1800m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. The son of Master Of My Fate takes on stronger, but he has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.

HELIOTROPE stayed on when fourth over 1800m last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. If getting away to a clean start, she should give the males a run for their money.

Race 8

PROTECT THE DREAM showed good improvement when winning her maiden over 1400m on this course. She raced from a handy position and drew off late. The daughter of Querari takes on stronger, but she has scope and should be up to the task at hand.

VERONIQUE stayed on when third over 1400m on this course last time. She has won once, finished second once and third once from four starts over this C&D. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

TRES CHIC’S last two starts have been good. She does have to contend with the widest draw but gets the services of Aldo Domeyer who will give her all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

Race 9

PARATROOPER had excuses in his last start over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. He returns from a 15-week break/suspension. The son of Lancaster Bomber takes a drop in class. He jumps from a good draw of two and can return to winning ways.

WINTER PEARL should have won his last start as he hung in the final 400m. He has won once, finished second once and third once from four starts in the wet. If keeping on a straight line, he can return to winning ways.

SHIFTING PATH has good recent form lines to his credit. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

Race 10

DEAN STREET showed good speed when winning his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. He has won twice, finished second once and third twice from seven starts in the wet. He is in a good space and in similar company, he can follow up.

MOJO MAN finished 1.75 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

GIMMELIGHTNING has good recent form lines to his credit. He returns from an 11-week break which would have done him the world of good. If jumping on terms, he should be involved at the finish
