Manchester City 5/10 Draw 38/10 Bournemouth 48/10

City come into what is their penultimate game in sixth spot in the standings, ahead of Forest on goal difference and they are 1 point behind Villa, Chelsea and Newcastle with this game in hand. A top 5 finish is required to play in the UCL next season, a draw here would still take City back into third (on goal difference) whilst a win would give them some daylight ahead of their final game away to Fulham on Sunday.

City's 1-0 defeat to Palace in the FA Cup Final at the weekend came on the back of a 0-0 draw at already relegated Southampton in their most recent league game. They are on a run of 8 without defeat in the EPL and they have kept 5 clean sheets in that sequence.

Bournemouth still have a slim chance of qualifying for the Europa Conference League next season. They would need to finish 8th and hope Chelsea end up in seventh and beat Betis in next week's Conference League final. Given they are currently 11th, 2 points behind 8th placed Brentford they would probably need to win here and then beat Leicester in a home fixture on Sunday to stand a chance and even then it's all dependant on what Chelsea do.

A 1-0 defeat at home to Villa last time out ended an unbeaten run of 5 league games, they now take aim at City who beat them 2-1 in the FA Cup but they did beat City 2-1 in the first league meeting this season in early February.

The Verdict

I'm of the opinion that Bournemouth can find a goal here regardless of the outcome and Semenyo is my “go to” man.

Bet: Anytime goalscorer Semenyo at 39/10 with Betway

Crystal Palace 14/10 Draw 24/10 Wolves 19/10

A first ever FA Cup Final win at the weekend ensures there will be a celebratory atmosphere at Selhurst Park. Marc Guehi and Adam Wharton both picked up knocks in that game and you would imagine will be doubtful for this game, Palace's last home fixture of the season.

Palace are 12th on the log and unbeaten in their last 4 league games, 3 draws and a 2-1 win at Spurs and the first clash with Wolves this season finished in a 2-2 draw.

Wolves are 14th and the gap to the team above them (Everton) is 4 points whilst their opponents here are out of range, 8 points better off. Having hovered in and around the bottom 3 for much of the season they reeled of 6 straight wins to pull clear of danger but their last 2 ended in defeat, away at Man City (1-0) and at home to Brighton (2-0).

The Verdict

A tough one to call in the circumstances, any 3 of the possible outcomes in the match result market would come as no great surprise to me and it could pay to wait for confirmed team news. For an early interest I'll go with Ismaïla Sarr any time.

Bet: Anytime goalscorer Ismaïla Sarr at 31/10 with Betway
