EDINBURGH V OSPREYS
This looks a tricky opening game and if anything there has been some money for the home team on the handicap which has shifted to -10.5 from an opening call of -9.5.
The points line is 46.5 but I won’t be tempted on a weekend where I have bigger fish to fry and will settle on an Edinburgh 1-12 play as I am leaning Ospreys on the cap.
Keep an eye on our forum thread where I will post any late plays and where other punters share their intel and bets
BET: 2 units Edinburgh win by 1-12 inclusive at 8/5 at Sportingbet*

MUNSTER v ZEBRE
This handicap opened -25.5 and has shifted out to -28.5.
Munster showed their depth in their big win over Scarlets and they should hammer a struggling Zebre team.
I was going to take Munster over 43.5 but could not get more than 5/6 at the time of writing and I will stick with a handicap play as I think this could be a hammering.

LIONS v SHARKS
This handicap has been fairly stable all week and there is definitely support for both teams. The Lions are currently -3.5 and having initially being leaning towards them, I am starting to agree with The Understaker that Sharks could turn up for this one. At the end of the day though that is irrelevant to me though as my main bet here will be over 49.5 points, a line that I simply cannot resist in Johannesburg conditions.
BET: 6 Units over 49.5 points at 9/10 at Pokerbet*

BENETTON v GLASGOW
Both these sides have impressed me at times this season and both are, of course, thin on the ground due to the Six Nations. There has been money for Benetton who opened +3.5 and have shortened to +1.5 and while leaning towards Benetton, I am once again sticking to the points line and going over 42.5, a quote that looks a bit on the low side.
BET: 4 Units over 42.5 points at 10/11 at Pokerbet*

BULLS v STORMERS
I am a bit surprised that this handicap is stable at Bulls -6.5. The Stormers have won their last 7 against the Bulls and always somehow find a way to get the job done. On last nights, THE HANDICAP, Hanrick reckoned they have the wrong favourite here and I do think that the Stormers are the play at +6.5. I also like the points line of 51.5 (overs), but my main bet will be the Stormers overs although strangely I cannot find a quote at 23h45 on Friday night.
BET: 6 units Stormers over 22.5 at 8/10 art WSB
CONNACHT v SCARLETS
The Scarlets are on a horror run and it is hard to see them making any impression against Connacht. The handicap has edged out in Connacht’s direction and it is currently -18.5. This is not a game I am going to get heavily involved in and I will take a small interest on the home team to beat the handicap.
BET: 3 units Connacht –18.5 at 9/10 at Betxchange
CARDIFF v LEINSTER
Leinster are, of course, missing pretty much an entire squad to Six Nations action, but they have shown their depth in the past and against the Cardiff side that are themselves looking a bit thin on the ground I am going to suggest that the visitors can beat the handicap here.
My main interest though will be on ver 45.5 points as I expect quite an open game.
BET: 4 units over 45.5 points at 10/11 at Pokerbet*

ULSTER v DRAGONS
This handicap opened -20.5 in South Africa earlier in the week and it has backed out into -25.5 on news that Ulster will be fielding a strong side and the Dragons are missing a few players. The points line is 56.5, but I am not going to bother with that and will wade in with a strong handicap play on the home team as there is still some -22.5 on offer at Betxchange (23h45 Friday night) .
BET: 5 units Ulster -22.5 at 19/20 at Betxchange
