PRECOCIOUS produced a promising debut effort over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. She raced from just off the pace after a slow start and stayed on nicely to finish second. The daughter of Ideal World would have strengthened up during her time off the track. Oswald Noach retains the ride and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should be the one to beat.

INSIDE VOICE was outrun late over 1000m on this course last time. She finished 1.25 lengths behind the top choice on debut. She has scope and is one of the leading contenders.

ELECTROMAGNETISM stayed on when second over this C&D last time. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight is coming along the right way and with Aldo Domeyer in the saddle, she should be right there.

Race 2

LOWVELD LILY ran a good race on debut over 1100m on this course. She took time to find her feet, but the manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. The daughter of Legislate would have gained from the experience and she will love the rise to 1200m. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should be the one to beat.

SOUTH OF FRANCE ran a decent race on debut over 1000m on this course. She was green in running, but finished off her race nicely. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

MY DEAR FRIEND finished 1.55 lengths behind the second choice on debut. The daughter of Master Of My Fate will enjoy the rise to 1200m and she can show improvement.

Race 3

SIERRA SAGRADA showed good improvement when second over this C&D last time. He jumped inwards leaving the start and finished off his race strongly. The son of One World is a progressive type and if getting away to a clean start, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

DIAMOND DAYS raced from just off the pace last time, but found one too good in the form of Good For You. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The son of Rafeef may be the horse to fill the exacta spot.

ROLAND GARROS was in need of his debut effort over 1100m. The son of Vercingetorix would have come on from the run and should enjoy the rise to 1400m. With luck in running, he should make the natural improvement.

Race 4

THINGAMABOB should have finished closer to the winner last time as she had to be switched for running room at the 150m mark. It must be noted that Wehaveasituation has come out and won again since. Her debut effort when second over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville catches the eye. If putting her best foot forward, she may be the one to beat.

RUBY REX was caught late when second over 1100m on this course last time. She should enjoy the drop to 1000m and must be included in all bets.

AMERICAN ULTRA returns from a lengthy 48-week break. Her first two career outings on this course were encouraging. If not in need of this outing, she should give a good account of herself.

Race 5

RHYDIAN was unlucky not to have won his comeback effort as he was held up for a run from the 600m mark to the 200m mark. The son of Rafeef would have come on from the run and he should strip much fitter. With a bit of luck in running, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

BOUNDLESS LOVE finished 0.5 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

KLEIN KAROO finished 0.8 lengths behind the top selection last time. The son of Canford Cliffs would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. Grant van Niekerk rides and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

 

 

Race 6

COLD BREEZE showed good improvement with the ear muffs fitted last time. She had to be switched for running room at the 200m mark and finished off her race strongly. The daughter of What A Winter carries another handy galloping mass of 53.5kgs. If confirming her recent improvement, she may be the one to beat.

RED STATE finished 0.7 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 1kg better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

CALL ME JANE showed some signs of needing her last start over 1000m on this course. She would have come on from the run and will strip much fitter. The daughter of Querari is back against her own sex and she cannot be ignored.

Race 7

EMPIRE STATE ran a fair race in the Non-Black Type HSH Princess Charlene Big Cap last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. This is his first run as a gelding which may have done the trick. The son of Rafeef has ability and he can notch up his third-career victory.

ELUSIVE WINTER has good consistent form lines to his credit. It must be noted that the form of his last outing has been franked. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

BLUFF ON BLUFF finished 0.05 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

Race 8

ONI SAN’S last three starts have been decent. She was slow into stride over 1400m last time, but stayed on to finish fourth. The daughter of Danon Platina may be at home over 1500m. If getting away to a clean start from barrier two, she can return to winning ways.

KLEINZEE followed up her maiden win with a good victory over 1600m on this course. She received a three-pound penalty for that win. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight meets a similar line-up and she can bring up the hat-trick.

LA DIVINA set the pace over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time, but found one too good in the form of Fun Zone. She has cracked a good draw of three and must be considered.

Race 9

DOUBLE DASH showed some signs of needing her comeback run over 1600m on this course. She would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. The daughter of Master Of My Fate won her maiden over 1800m under Grant van Niekerk in her penultimate run. She should have no issues with the rise to 2200m and may be hard to peg back.

LADY SPRINGFIELD ran a good race when second over 1800m at Fairview last time. She drops back in class and if jumping on terms, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

TWICE THE MASTER tried hard when second over this C&D last time. He finished 0.1 lengths behind KWITE A KING that day. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and that should be enough for the tables to be turned
