DRAGONS V CONNACHT
Posted 27 April 10h22
This handicap opened Dragons +6.5 and has gone out to +10.5 (I capped this +9.5 in my Sunday night handicapping exercise, ) and I expect the visitors to get the win and they will be motivated given they are in contention but with work to do to make the playoffs.
This is a points weekend for me though and I like the over 45.5 on offer. Dragons home games have been low scoring but with nothing more than pride to play for I expect them to throw caution to the wind and this bet would have landed in 3 of the last 4 head to heads.
There is the threat of rain about and humidity levels are a touch higher than I would like but I am going to stick to my guns and go overs,
BET: 3 units over 45.5 points at 9/10 at Betxchange
Thats it for this blog but any additional bets will be posted in our forum where we have some very shrewd punters sharing information and bets.
CARDIFF V EDINBURGH
Posted 27 April 08h58
I set this handicap at Cardiff +6.5 in my Sunday night exercise and am leaning to the visitors here at current lines of -1.5. .
Looking at the weather it looks likely that there will be cloud cover but little rain at the time of kick off and this makes the over 45.5 points on offer tempting.
This bet would have arrived in 4 of the last 4 Cardiff home matches in all competitions and with the home team not having much to lose I reckon we get an open game. I won’t be flying in too big though as historically these sides have produced some very low scoring matches.

REDS v BLUES
Posted 26 April 07h12
This line has been stable since opening +9.5. I capped it Reds +7.5 so in theory should be leaning their way but after listening to last nights show I am thinking the Blues can cover this.
After some thought and also consideration for the 51.5 points line I am coming down on an away win by 1-12 points.
BET: 2 units Blues by 1-12 points at 13/8 at Sportingbet*

HIGHLANDERS V FORCE
Posted 26 April 07h06
This line is right where I set it in my Sunday night exercise and it has been stable all week.
I am mulling over an under 56.5 play on the points line with the Highlanders proving to be an unders team this season but for now I will back them to win a close one against a Force side that has shown more than them this season but are generally not great travelers.
BET: 2 units Highlanders by 1-12 points at 17/10 at Sportingbet*

BRUMBIES V HURRICANES
Posted 26 April 06h56
@TheCroweTips mentioned on last nights show that the Brumbies don’t seem to have had a great season yet when you look at the log there they are near the top. I capped this game at +7.5 Brumbies and it is very much where I expected it although I did see some -5.5 Hurricanes earlier in the week.
Gun to head I am on the Canes here as they are showing no signs of slowing down but with nothing standing out for me (the points line of 56.5 also looks about right) I will go for a speculative play that we get 49-55 points in the game inclusive.
BET: 2 units Point Range 49-55 at 15/4 at WSB
FIJIAN DRUA V MAONA PASIFIKA
Posted 26 April 06h48
This handicap has been fairly stable since opening -11.5 and there is now generally -12.5 Drua available.
The points line is high at 62.5 although historically there have been some high scoring matches between the sides.
It is not a game I am going to get too involved in (or even watch with the 4am kick-off) and so just a small interest for me in the Drua making a fast start in front of a passionate home crowd.
BET: 3 units Drua over 2.5 1st half tries at 19/20 at WSB
ZEBRE V GLASGOW WARRIORS
Posted 26 April 06h37
I handicapped this game Zebre +114.5 in my Sunday night exercise and the line opened +13.5 but weight of money on the visitors has seen it shift to the +18.5 currently on offer.
I am not going to get involved there though but will look to the points lines. There was plenty of support for the overs on last nights show and I agree this could be an open game as the Warriors target a bonus point try against a Zebre side with nothing to lose.
BET: 4 units over 52.5 points at 10/11 at Pokerbet
ULSTER V BENETTON
Posted 25 April 22h40
There has been massive movement on this handicap with the +12.5 Benetton backed into +4.5 which is where I set it in my Sunday night exercise
Benetton have a big semi in the Challenge Cup next week and while Ulster have been poor I think they can take advantage of this to beat the handicap.
BET: 3 units Ulster -4.5 at 9/10 at Betxchange
WARATAHS V CHIEFS
Posted 25 April 10h33
This handicap is a bit higher at +14.5 Tahs than I set it (+10.5) in my Sunday night exercise but I cannot bring myself to back the home team on the plus.
I think there could be points in this one and I am expecting the Waratahs to score a few in what looks like being excellent conditions.
BET: 4 units Waratahs over 21.5 at 10/11 at Pokerbet*

CRUSADERS VS REBELS
Posted 25 April 10h32
The Crusaders have had an awful season but they welcome a couple of All Blacks back into the mix and the line is starting to shift out from the opening -10.5 to -11.5.
I handicapped this game Crusaders -14.5 in my Sunday night exercise and have a feeling that they are going to turn in a good one on home turf.
The points lines is 57.5 and the Rebels are usually good for points but I will stick to the handicap play.
BET: 4 units Crusaders -11.5 at 19/20 at WSB
