There are 4 English Premier League matches for punters to get involved in on Sunday and we take a look at each of them before suggesting a bet.
BURNLEY v NEWCASTLE
Burnley are currently 15th on the log, 4 points ahead of Newcastle in 17th, both teams have 8 matches left to play.
Burnley’s recent form hasn’t been great and they lost 3-2 away to Southampton last time out but prior to that they did beat Everton on the road to break a 5 match streak without a victory. Both teams have found the back of the net in Burnley’s last 4 matches.
Newcastle are still very much in the relegation battle and they have now gone 7 matches without a win and they have drawn 4 of their last 5 including a 2-2 home draw against Tottenham last time out. Their last away game was a 3-0 thumping at Brighton.

Burnley 27/20
Draw 43/20
Newcastle 12/5
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 13/10
Both of these teams last 2 League matches have seen 3 goals or more scored so I am a bit surprised to be getting such a big price.
WEST HAM v LEICESTER
This is one of the matches of the weekend with West Ham currently 4th on the log, 4 points behind 3rd placed Leicester.
West Ham beat Wolves 3-2 on the road last time out and their last away game was a 3-3 draw against Arsenal. They have taken 10 points from a possible 12 in their last 4 home games.
Leicester lost 2-0 at home to log leaders, Manchester City last time out. Their last away game was a 2-1 away win over Brighton. They have only lost once on the road this season with 10 wins and 4 draws in their 15 matches.

West Ham 2/1
Draw 12/5
Leicester 29/20
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 9/10
Once again I am quite surprised by this price given that there have been 9 goals in West Ham’s last 2 matches and Leicester have also played in a number of high scoring affairs in recent times. Add to that a look at the head-to-head where this bet would have arrived in their last 4 League meetings.
TOTTENHAM v MANCHESTER UNITED
Tottenham are currently 6th on the log and have only lost once in their last 6 starts. Last time out they drew 2-2 at Newcastle and their last home game was a 4-1 hammering of Crystal Palace.
Manchester United are 2nd on the log, 14 points behind Manchester City going into the weekend, but with a game in hand. They won their last 3 matches in succession, beating Brighton 2-1 at home last time out and their last away game was a great 2-0 win against Manchester City.
These sides last met in October of 2020 with Tottenham hammering Manchester United 6-1 away. Both teams have scored in the last 4 meetings between the sides in all competitions.

Tottenham 19/10
Draw 49/20
Manchester United 29/20
Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 9/10
I like the goal markets on Sunday that’s for sure, but this time I am going unders as I expect a cagey approach from Tottenham and with Manchester United defence being so good of late I think goals are going to be hard to come by.
SHEFFIELD UNITED v ARSENAL
Sheffield United are bottom of the table and destined to be relegated. They have lost their last 3 matches, most recently 2-1 away at Leeds and their last home game was a 2-0 defeat to Southampton. Overall at home they have only won 3 times in 15 attempts this season.
Arsenal are currently 10th on the table and they are coming off a defeat at home to Liverpool by 3-0 and prior to that they have gone 4 matches unbeaten. Over 2.5 goals would have arrived in 4 of the last 5 Arsenal matches and both teams to score would also have arrived in 4 of their last 5.
The Gunners won the reverse fixture 2-1 at home earlier this season and last season Sheffield United won this fixture 1-0

Sheffield United 5/1
Draw 3/1
Arsenal 6/10
Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, YES, at 21/20
In Arsenal’s last 7 matches this bet would have arrived 5 times and the 2 times it didn’t was against big guns, Manchester City and Liverpool so I think the 11/10 is decent value.
