PSG travel to Manchester City for Tuesday night’s 2nd leg Champions League Semi-Final match and they have it all to do after going down 2-1 in the home leg. We take a look at this game from a betting angle.
Let’s start with a look at the Outright Betting to win the Champions League where Manchester City are trading at 7/10, Chelsea are 7/2 and you can get 11/2 Real Madrid with PSG rank outsiders at 10/1.

Manchester City looked to be in trouble early in the 1st leg as they trailed 1-0 at halftime. They were being outplayed at that point and PSG probably should have gone into the break further ahead. They came storming back in the second half though to score 2 goals through De Bruyne and Mahrez and they held on fairly comfortably and may have been disappointed not to extend their lead after PSG had a man sent off.
In their quarter-final, Manchester City beat Dortmund 4-2 on aggregate, winning both matches 2-1 and they saw off Monchengladbach 4-0 on aggregate in the last 16.
City are on the verge of winning the English Premier League Title and on Saturday they were too strong for Crystal Palace with a workmanlike 2-0 victory on the road, their 4th successive win in all competitions.
PSG overcame Bayern Munich in their quarter-final, winning on the away goals rule after the teams finished 3-3 on aggregate. They had set themselves with a 3-2 victory in Germany and they will be hoping for something similar against Manchester City.
PSG’s away matches in the Champions League tended to have goals in them with only 1 of them failing to reach 3 goals and their last 3 away matches all reaching the 4 goal mark.
Domestically their form is good and they bagged full points at the weekend, at home to Lens, winning 2-1.

Manchester City 7/10
Draw 13/4
PSG 69/20
Main Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 13/10
I am not convinced that this one is going to be a goal fest, yes PSG have to attack, but I don’t think they are going to do anything reckless initially and I think City will be content to keep the ball and force PSG into taking chances at some point in the match. I think this may be a more cagey affair than what the bookmakers are expecting.
Additional Bets
I am also going to have a small interest in the Correct Score Market where I fancy a Manchester City 1-0 win at current odds of 8/1 and in another speculative play I am backing Mahrez to score the first goal at a price of 6/1.
