BettingDiaryA busy weekend lies ahead for sports punters and we take a look at some of the highlights in our Betting Diary.

RUGBY

Super Rugby takes centre stage this weekend and there are 4 games on Saturday and 1 in the early hours of Sunday morning.

There have been plenty of money for the Reds away to the Lions and the handicap has shortened from (+6.5) to (+4.5).

The Stormers remain firm favourites at (-9.5) to beat the Bulls and we fancy a more speculative play here that the Stormers win by 11-20 points by 3/1.

There is also Six Nations action this week with the highlight being Ireland against Wales in Dublin.

Ireland are currently 6/10 with the Welsh 31/20 and the draw 25/1 and on the handicap Ireland are (-4.5) favourites. Conditions are expected to be poor and the points line should be around 38.5 and if so going unders is probably the play.

South Africa and England will meet in the 3rd ODI on Sunday and betting will be available on completion of the 2nd ODI.

There is live boxing this weekend with Arslan verse Lerena in a fight for the IBO Cruiserweight World Title and Lerena is a hotpot favourite here at 1/10.

GOLF

The European and PGA Tours events will conclude this weekend and there are links to the in-running betting in the left-hand top corner of World Sports Betting Website.

FOOTBALL

There are just 4 English Premier League matches this weekend and Brighton v Watford should be an interesting one from a relegation point of view.

Brighton are 23/20 favourites and Watford, whose good run appears to have come to an end, are 51/20 with the draw 49/20.

HORSE RACING

Local horse racing takes place at Turffontein and Kenilworth on Saturday and then we are onto Scotsville for Sunday.

Turffontein has a 10 race card starting at 12:30 and finishing at 17:55 and includes the Gauteng Guineas and the Gauteng Fillies Guineas and both the races look very open. Our best bet on the card comes late on where we fancy Horse No. 2, Dancing Queen at 19/10 in the 10th Race.

Kenilworth is an 8 race card starting at 13:20 and finishing at 17:35. Punters looking for a Pick Six banker may well consider Horse No. 1, Still Tappin, currently priced at 15/20 in Race 3, the opening leg.
