BettingDiaryThe FA Cup Final takes place at Wembley this Saturday with two of the English Premier League’s top sides, Chelsea and Leicester, meeting in the Final. We take a look at the game from a betting angle.

Chelsea had a difficult task in their semi-final, but they were up to it and beat Manchester City 1-0 to book their spot at Wembley. Prior to that they had beaten Sheffield United 2-0 at home, Barnsley 1-0 on the road in the last 16 and early doors they had few problems in seeing off Morecambe and Luton both at home. Chelsea haven't conceded a goal in their last 3 FA Cup matches all of which would have delivered profits for under 2.5 goal backers.

They are currently 4th in the English Premier League although did see their 3 match winning run ended last time out. The team just above them on the log is Leicester, 2 points ahead with both sides having 2 games left to play.

Leicester are coming off a 2-1 League victory over Manchester United, the team they beat 3-1 at home in the quarter-finals that got them into the last 4 where they were too good for Southampton winning 1-0 at Wembley. Looking at earlier rounds they edged Brighton at home and had fairly comfortable victories in Rounds 3 and 4 over lower League teams.

Looking at head-to-head form between the sides, Leicester won their League clash 2-0 at home with the sides set to do battle again on Wednesday in the EPL and they also met in the FA Cup last season with Chelsea beating Leicester 1-0. Last season both sets of EPL matches were drawn.

Chelsea 19/20

Draw 5/2

Leicester 61/20

Suggested Bet: Chelsea to win at 19/20

This should be a good game and there certainly won’t be much between the sides, but I just have the feeling that Chelsea have that little bit extra which would see them over the line here.

I will also be taking an additional bet in the Correct Score market where I like 1-0 to Chelsea at odds of 21/4.

There are loads of other markets on the match including, First Goal Scorer, Time of First Goal and there will also be in-running betting on the match.
