Inter 1.65/1 Draw 2.55/1 Bayern 1.55/1

Inter won the first leg 2-1 in Munich last week. Martinez gave them a first half lead which they held until the 85th minute when Muller equalized, There was more drama to come soon after as Frattesi found what proved to be the winner on 88 minutes.

Inter had to much for Feyenoord in the Ro16, winning the first leg 2-0 away from home and following up with a 2-1 victory in Milan. Inter won 6, drew 1 and lost 1 of their league phase matches to finish fourth and advance straight to the Round of 16. Their only defeat came away to Leverkusen (1-0) and that is one of only 3 goals they conceded in this competition.

Inter currently top Serie A, 3 points clear of Napoli with 6 rounds of matches to go.

Bayern won the first leg 3-0 of their R016 clash with Leverkusen in Munich and a 2-0 win away from home in the second leg secured a comfortable passage through. They had made hard work of qualifying for the knockout rounds, winning 5 and losing 3 of their league phase matches to finish 9th. That saw them pitched into a play off with Glasgow Celtic. Bayern won the first leg 2-1 but the return in Munich went to the wire, eventually finishing 1-1 on the night.

In the Bundeliga Bayern drew 2-2 at home to Dortmund at the weekend but they remain top of the log, 6 points clear of Leverkusen.

The Verdict

Bayern created and missed plenty of chances in the first leg and now have it all to do against a side who are very hard to beat. As the match result betting suggests this is far from over and I must admit to battling to make a call. I'll side with over 1.5 second half goals, a pick which relies upon a degree of guess work.

Real Madrid 7/10 Draw 32/10 Arsenal 7/2

Last week's first leg in London was goalless at half time but Arsenal went on to run out winners 3-0 on the night and put themselves in control. Declan Rice scored twice from free kicks and Mikel Moreno added the third. All 3 of those goals came in the space of just 17 minutes and a red card for Camavinga in injury time summed up Real's night.

Real came up against Atletico in the Ro16. They were 2-1 winners at home in the first leg but the return finished 1-0 to Atletico and went all the way to spot kicks with Real holding their nerve. Real finished 11th in the league phase with 5 wins and 3 defeats to make the play offs where they saw off English opposition in the shape of Manchester City. They held a 2-1 advantage from the first leg in Manchester and finished the job in Madrid with a 3-1 win to go through 5-2 on aggregate

In La Liga Real are in second spot, 4 points behind Barca with Atletico 3 points further back in third.

Arsenal's 7-1 win away from home in the first leg of the Ro16 match up with PSV put the tie to bed and the return finished 2-2 on the night and the Gunners sailed through.

Arsenal finished third in the league phase, winning 6, drawing 1 and losing 1 of their matches and they won all 4 home games without conceding.

A 1-1 draw at home to Brentford in the EPL at the weekend saw Arsenal remain in second place, now 13 points behind Liverpool in the EPL title race with 6 rounds of matches remaining.

The Verdict

An early Real goal would make things interesting but given the way the tie stands I think there will be opportunities for Arsenal and after what happened last week a Declan rice shot on target shouldn't be ruled out.

Bets: Player shots on target Declan Rice, 1 or more at 1.45/1 with Betway
