Bulls:

The Bulls remain in third place in the standings with a record of 11 wins and 4 defeats. They have a tally of 58 log points just 1 shy of Glasgow Warriors and 9 behind Leinster. Looking down the Sharks are fourth with 53 points and given the Bulls have a 12 point cushion over fifth placed Cardiff a home quarter final is assured.

The Bulls return to Loftus after 2 big wins overseas. They came away from Limerick with a 16-13 victory over Munster in Round 15 and last time out they beat the Warriors 26-19 in Glasgow.

After this the Bulls finish up at home to the Dragons and in the outright betting to win the URC title they are 9/2 second favourites with WSB.

Cardiff:

Fifth placed Cardiff have a record of 8 wins, 1 draw and 7 defeats and their tally of 46 log points is 7 shy of the fourth placed Sharks. They have the Stormers breathing down their necks on 45 points and with a gap of just 5 points to 9th placed Munster they still have work to do to finish in the play off places.

Recent results include a 36-19 victory away to the Ospreys and in Round 16 they came out on top at home to Munster 26-21. In Round 10 they lost at home to the Sharks (42-22) but in Round 13 they beat the Lions 20-17 in another home game and next week they finish up away to the Stormers.

Cardiff are 50/1 shots in the outright betting to win the URC title with WSB

Betting Angle

Posted 09 May 08h15

This handicap opened -16.5 and has moved to as high as -19.5 but is generally -18.5 at the time of writing.

The Bulls will want a bonus point win to keep in the running for 2nd place and Cardiff will obviously want the win but any bonus points they could get would be valuable in terms of their playoff chances.

I am waiting for the teams and points lines and if I like what I see will be firing into this game.

The weather looks clear and dry.

I am sure you can see above what I was waiting for. The points line is 56.5 and I am firing the overs.

BET: 7 units over 56.5 points at 0.89 at Betxchange

The line of 56.5 held for a bit longer than I thought but the dam wall broke and it is now 60.5.

At this level it is still a bet for me with the stake scaled back to 5 units.

I believe there is still a point or 2 to run on this one and there will be 62.5 come kick off.
