Six more English Premier League matches take place on Wednesday and we have a tip for each game including Arsenal v Manchester United
Prices quoted from BoyleSports are correct at the time of publication but subject to change.
Everton 12/10 Draw 23/10 Wolves 26/10
A 4-0 defeat at Man United on Sunday means Everton have not scored in their last 4 matches and they are 5 without a win (3 draws, 2 defeats). They finished the last round in fifteenth, 2 points clear of the relegation zone.
Wolves 4 match unbeaten run (2 wins, 2 draws) came to an abrupt end at home to Bournemouth last week when they went down 4-2.
The Verdict
Everton are so short of fire power but Wolves have only kept 1 clean sheet all season. Cunha didn't get among the goals for Wolves at the weekend but I'm sticking with him here.
Bets: Anytime goalscorer Mattheus Cunha at 2.35/1 with BoyleSports
Man City 4/10 Draw 39/10 Forest 15/2
City's 2-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday was their fourth straight defeat in the league and if you throw in 2 recent UCL results, a 4-1 defeat at Sporting and 3-3 draw at home to Feyenoord (a game they led 3-0) plus an EFL Cup exit it's 7 games without a victory. They have slipped to fifth place, 11 points behind Liverpool.
After back to back defeats at home to Newcastle and away at Arsenal Forest returned to winning ways with a 1-0 home victory over Ipswich last weekend and they finished the round just 1 point and 1 place behind City.
The Verdict
Forest are the only side to have beaten Liverpool this season and City are showing no signs of a return to form. I really don't know what to make of City's slump or whether they can get out of it here but I'll side with both teams to find the net.
Bets: Both teams to score? (yes) at 9/10
Newcastle 34/10 Draw 2.85/1 Liverpool 8/10
Newcastle conceded a late equalizer in a 1-1 draw at Palace last weekend and remain in mid table with 19 points. Home games have been short on goals, just 5 scored and the same number conceded and their record at St. James Park comprises of 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats.
Liverpool extended their lead in the title race to 9 points last week with Arsenal and Chelsea now their closest chasers. Their only dropped points away from home came in a 2-2 draw at Arsenal and they have continued their relentless progress in all competitions
The Verdict
Bits and pieces of Newcastle's form suggest they can be competitive but it's hard to argue with Liverpool right now. I'll have a nibble at Domink Szobolai to pop up with a goal for the visitors.
Bets: Anytime goalscorer Domink Szobolai at 49/10 with BoyleSports
Southampton 76/10 Draw 43/10 Chelsea 7/20
Southampton came away from Brighton with a very useful 1-1 draw last Friday but they remain at the foot of the standings with just 5 points, 4 fewer than any other team. They scored twice against Liverpool in their most recent home game but went down 3-2.
Chelsea's comfortable 3-0 home win over Villa saw them finish the previous round with an identical record to Arsenal and the London duo are 9 points behind Liverpool. Their only defeats this season came at home to City on the opening weekend and away at Liverpool in October.
The Verdict
Southampton put in a decent effort in each of their last 2 matches but Chelsea are coming on strong. I'm with the visitors but with Southampton contributing to the scoring.
Bets: Combo away win and both teams to score? (yes) at 17/10 with BoyleSports
Arsenal 5/10 Draw 3.45/1 Man United 6/1
Arsenal scored all of their goals in a 5-2 win at West Ham in the first half. They were 3-0 winners at home to Forest in their most recent home game and are seemingly back in form.
United saw off Everton 4-0 at Old Trafford to move into the top half of the standings and with 19 points they are 4 shy of fourth placed Brighton. They seem to be improving with every outing under their new coach although its still early day's and this will tell us much more.
The Verdict
Arsenal are back in the goals but I think United will have enough momentum to contribute to the scoring here.
Bets: Both teams to score? (yes) at 17/20 with BoyleSports
Aston Villa 17/20 Draw 11/4 Brentford 3.35/1
Villa have taken just 2 points from the last 15 available and have slipped below half way and they have gone 8 without a win in all competitions. Their last 3 home games, against Man United, Bournemouth and Palace were all drawn.
Brentford put Leicester away in a home game 4-1 last weekend and they are now 1 point better off than Villa. OF their tally of 20 points 19 were earned in home games whilst their only return from 6 road trips came in a recent 0-0 draw at Everton.
The Verdict
Brentford's chalk and cheese record home and away is hard to get away from but Villa hardly inspire confidence of late. Still I'll go with Watkins to get himself on the scoresheet against a Brentford side who have kept just 1 clean sheet this season.
Bets: Anytime goalscorer Oliie Watkins at 13/10 with BoyleSports
