Glasgow Warriors:

The Warriors eventually finished fourth in the standings at the end of the regular season. They were in the top 2 for much of the campaign before three successive defeats in their last 3 matches.

Their overall record comprised of 11 wins and 7 defeats and their tally of 59 log points was 4 more than the Stormers and 3 shy of the third placed Sharks.

In South Africa earlier in the campaign they lost to the Sharks (28-24) in Durban but beat the Stormers (28-17) in Stellenbosch. They thrashed the Lions 42-0 in Glasgow in Round 14 but lost 26-19 to the Bulls at this venue in Round 16.

These teams also met in Glasgow in the quarter finals last season, the Warriors came out on top 27-10 and went on to reach the final where they beat the Bulls 21-16 at Loftus.

In the outright betting the Warriors are 13/1 to win the URC title with WSB.

Stormers:

The Stormers finished fifth in the standings, climbing into the play off places on the back of a run of 4 successive home wins in the later rounds. Their overall record of 10 wins and 8 defeats for 55 log points was inferior to that of 2023/24 when they won 12 and lost 6 but also finished fifth best.

Overseas in the URC this season the Stormers won 2 and lost 4 and their best result away from home came in South Africa, a victory over the Bulls at Loftus.
