SHARKS V BULLS
Posted 8 September 11h03
This was always going to be a tricky handicap to call until teams were announced.
It is a dead rubber and the sides will meet in Pretoria next week but at the same time the coaches are looking to get game time for some of the URC players.
I handicapped this game Sharks -4.5 and the line opened +3.5 and while coming in to +1.5 it is now out to +4.5 after team selection.
Bookies are a bit slow with points lines and quite a few bookies are not even showing betting on this game at the moment so I am going to wait for more markets before deciding on a bet.

Being a dead rubber I am expecting a scrappy game and the weather doesn’t look great so unders is the call.

PUMAS v CHEETAHS
Posted 7 September 10h58
I priced the Pumas -4.5 and having opened +1.5 they are now favourites on most books.
The points line is 62.5 and based on matches in Nelspruit this season overs is crying out to be backed but this is effectively a quarter-final and if pushed i would take unders.
I am going to keep this simple though and back the Pumas to rise to the occassion at home and beat a Cheetahs side that has been disappointing in recent weeks.
BET: 4 units Pumas win at 9/10 at WSB
GRIQUAS V WESTERN PROVINCE
Posted 5 September 22h56
There has been big movement in this handicap with the opening WP -4.5 out to anywhere from -11.5 to -14.5 at the time of writing.
I handicapped this as Griquas -3.5 but did mention that team news could change things.
The points line is up at Pokerbet and is 68.5.
Although WP have loaded their team I am not convinced they are going to run away with this against a Griquas side that have played well in the back end fo the season.
I am travelling away for a long weekend on Friday but may be back with a points play.
BET: 3 units Griquas +13.5 at 9/10 at WSB
BET: 1 unit Griquas win at 4/1 at WSB
LIONS V GRIFFONS
Posted 05 September 23h33
I handicapped this game Lions -52.5 and took some -40.5 when it opened. The line has moved to the mid 40’s but I still see value in the home team.
This Griffons team must be down and out after a season of taking hidings and the Lions side have plenty of depth and should hammer them.
I am also hoping to get a try scorer bet or 2 down but unfortunately have a funeral to attend in the morning and am leaving afterwards for a weekend away with the family.
I will post if I can.
BET: 4 units Lions -44.5 at 17/20 at WSB
