ENGLAND V JAPAN

Posted 22 November 21h37

This handicap opened -32.5 England and currently ranges from -33.5 to -35.5.

The points line is set at 60.5 and I am going to wait for Sunday to confirm conditions before placing my main bet.

An early interest though is Chandler Cunningham-South to score Englands last try at 12/1. He has a nose for the try line and will be on at the end with fresh legs.

Main bet to follow on Sunday.

BET: 0.5 unit Chandler Cunningham-South to score Englands last try at 12/1 at Pokerbet*

The weather in the UK isn’t great but Twickenham is a ground that drains well and the forecast doesn’t look too bad.

I expect England to be far too strong and prefer the over 7.5 England tries at 10/11 than the over 48.5 England points at a similar price. The reason is that I don’t expect England to take 3 pointers.

BET: 3 units England over 7.5 tries at 10/11 at Pokerbet

ITALY v NEW ZEALAND

Posted 22 November 12h45

This handicap was -24.5 early in the week on the assumption that the New Zealand coach would rest some of his top players. That hasn’t been the case though and as this is the last game on tour he has named a very strong team and the handicap has shot out to -30.5 New Zealand. I like New Zealand to beat this cap, but in what looks like being very cold and potentially slippery conditions, the bet I prefer is Italy under 17.5 points. In their last 3 home games against New Zealand they have scored 9, 3 and 10 points respectively.

BET: 4 Units, Italy under 17.5 points at 8/10 at Sportingbet*

IRELAND v FIJI

Posted 22 November 11h02

Ireland have not been at their best in the last 2 matches losing by 10 points to New Zealand and then allowing Argentina back into the game last week eventually holding on 22-19. Ireland have made a number of changes for this fixture and despite fielding two new caps have plenty of experience to call on.

Fiji battled past Spain 33-19 last week, but the week before that upset Wales in Cardiff 24-19. They are putting out a strong team, but will miss the power and skills of Semi Radradra who is suspended.

The handicap for this game has been stable at Ireland -19.5 all week and it does look well set. I am leaning towards Fiji the plus but my focus is in the points markets.

There will be some rain in the build up to the game and while it is likely to clear the freezing temperatures and some wind should make conditions tricky.

BET: 3 units under 54.5 points at 10/11 at WSB
