Considering they are already relegated Ipswich showed great spirit to come from 2-0 down to get a point at Everton last week. They now come up against Europe chasing Brentford who are looking for a fourth straight win. Brentford edged the earlier meeting this season 4-3 and once again I see scope for goals, hopefully 4 or more
Bet: Total goals over 3.5 at 12/10 with Sportingbet
Man City ought to be putting Southampton away at St. Mary's to strengthen their hand in terms of a top 5 finish and UCL football next season. They are chasing a fifth straight EPL win and I see them coming out on top by at least a 3 goal margin.
Bet: Handicap Man City -2, boosted to 14/10 with Sportingbet
Bournemouth are hoping for European football next season and Aston Villa are still in the mix for UCL qualification although they have ground to make up and little margin for error in their last 3 matches. Given the circumstances I see scope for goals for both sides and Tielemans, my original pick is out for the visitors so I'll take the Watkins 1st goalscorer price boost.
Bet: First goalscorer Watkins at 5.25/1 with Sportingbet
Sunday 11th May
Top 5 contenders Newcastle and Chelsea feature in the early kick off and only goal difference separates the fourth placed home side from their opponents. With that in mind I'm keeping things very simple here, neither side can afford to lose and the value lies with the draw.
Bet: Match result draw at 27/10 with Sportingbet
Notts Forest have slipped out of the top 5 but now have what looks like a great opportunity to return to winning ways against local rivals Leicester who are already relegated. However the derby element and hopefully some pride might make this more competitive than form lines suggest. Jamie Vardy has 3 games left to get a milestone reaching goal before he leaves Leicester, I am chancing my arm on him not shying away from taking aim at the Forest goal.
Bet: Players shots on target, Jamie Vardy 2 or more at 7/2 with Sportingbet
Last up Champions Liverpool host Arsenal. It's been a bad week for the Gunners who lost a league game 2-1 at home to Bournemouth and then exited the UCL at the semi final stage at PSG in midweek. The pressure is only on the visitors who still have work to do to seal a top 5 finish. Looking ahead Arsenal host Newcastle after this and finish up with what should be a penalty kick away to Southampton. I think they can come away with a precious point here.
Bet: Match result draw at 5/2 with Sportingbet
