There is a lone English Premier League match taking place on Monday night and we look at the clash between Leicester and Liverpool from a betting angle.
Manchester City have shortened to 1/250 favourites to win the English Premier League title after this weekend with Arsenal now 70/1 long shots. There are a number of other markets still to be decided including to be relegated and to finish 4th.

LEICESTER
Leicester are currently 19th on the log and are looking like serious candidates for relegation but victory here would move them up to 17th and keep their destiny in their own hands. Leicester’s last match was a 5-3 away defeat at Fulham, their 5th successive match that both teams have found the back of the net and 4 of those 5 games have delivered profits for over 2.5 goal backers. Leicester have only won 4 out of 17 matches at home this season, but they are unbeaten in their last 2 home games, a win with Everton and beating Wolves.
LIVERPOOL
Liverpool are 5th on the log, 4 points behind Manchester United in 4th place with both sides having 3 games left to play. They will be looking to keep the pressure on Manchester United with their 7th successive victory in the League. Last time out they beat Brentford 1-0 at home. On the road this season Liverpool have won 5 times in 17 attempts, but 2 of those victories have come in their last 2 away games at West Ham and Leeds.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
Liverpool beat Leicester 2-1 at home in the reverse fixture, but last season Leicester won this fixture 1-0 and they have won their last 2 home matches against Liverpool.

Leicester 9/2
Draw 15/4
Liverpool 4/7
There is nothing in Leicester’s recent form to suggest they are going to beat Liverpool, but I can’t help to feel they present some value. Yes, Liverpool are chasing 4th place, but deep down they know that it is probably going to elude them and they face a desperate Leicester side that simply has to get the 3 points.
There is one thing that has dogged Liverpool this season and that is inconsistency and I think that Leicester can take advantage and grab all 3 points.
SUGGESTED BET: Leicester win at 9/2
For the more conservative the Leicester handicap at +0.5 goals is 15/10 meaning you get a return if they just avoid being beaten.
If you are a punter who enjoys the goals markets, over 2.5 goals is trading short at 9/20, but you can get 11/10 for over 3.5 goals and I do think we are going to get goals in this game.
If you are looking for a really big price how about the 3-2 Leicester win at 40/1 and if you want to bet on the First Goal Scorer Market, Jamie Vardy is trading at 17/2 to open the scoring.
