The son of One World would have gained from the experience and will love the extra 100m on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should go one better.
IMPACT INVESTOR finished 1.9 lengths behind the top choice on debut. The son of Gimmethegreenlight will be at home over the extra 100m on offer. He would have come on from the run and should be competitive.
PROHIBITION was in need of his debut effort over 1000m on this course. The son of Legislate would have gained from the experience and can improve to finish in the placings.
Race 2
GO IT ALONE showed good improvement in his last start over this C&D. He stayed on at the finish that day but found one too good in the form of Aspect. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. If confirming his recent improvement, he may be the one to beat.
IN THE BAG finished 0.05 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
GIVETHATMANABELLS is better than his last start as he raced wide around the turn. His three efforts prior to that run were decent. Richard Fourie steps back into the saddle and with luck in running, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest. E

HAMPSTEAD HEATH has produced two fair runs to date. The manner in which she finishes off her races suggests that she will love the rise to 1400m. The daughter of Rafeef is a progressive type and may be the one to side with in this line-up.
PLUM PUDDING finished 0.1 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.
QHAWEKAZI is better than her last start over 1600m. She returns from a 10-week break which may have done her the world of good. Her first three career outings were encouraging and if putting her best foot forward, she should be involved in the fight to the finish.
Race 4
LOCKHEEDLIGHTNING finished 0.2 lengths behind KWITE A KING last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. Bernard Fayd’Herbe is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.
KWITE A KING was doing his best work late when third over this C&D last time. He has cracked a handy draw of five and if jumping on terms, he should be involved in the fight to the finish.
FLY FUTURA finished 2.45 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result. If finding the form of his penultimate run, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest
Race 5
NATYAM has top consistent form lines to his credit. He challenged strongly in his last start over 1800m, but was touched off by Harajuku. He should love the rise to 2200m and from his good draw of two, he should take a power of beating.
GIMME MORE TIME finished 1.25 lengths behind MARSHALL FIELD last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He is having his peak run today and is one of the leading contenders.
MARSHALL FIELD ran on from last to win his last start over 1800m on this course. He tries the 2200m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he can follow up.
Race 6
GO LIKE FLO is a winner of her last three starts. She set the pace over this C&D last time, found another kick and drew clear of the opposition. The blinkers have done the trick on the daughter of Gimmethegreenlight. She jumps from a mid-field draw of six and in this field, she can win four in a row.
KAMAKAZI ran a good race when third in her last start over this C&D. She may have cost herself winning that day as she hung in the closing stages. The daughter of Captain Of All has an awkward draw of nine to contend with, but Aldo Domeyer is likely to use her early gate speed to get across without using up too much energy.
RED MOON RISING finished 0.3 lengths behind the second choice last time. She is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair in the fight to the finish.

TEFLON MAN stayed on when fourth in his last start over 1000m on this course. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish was encouraging. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He has won once and finished second once from three starts over this C&D. With a bit of luck from his wide draw of 12, he can return to winning ways.

TRIP TO MAPUTO is better than her last start over 1400m. Her form prior to that outing was good. She is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners
