SAvNZ150The latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 30th August to 1st September including a 15/1 acca with @WorldSsportsBet

The Sharks and Lions ensured a positive return for the Newsletter last week when they made short work of WP and the Cheetahs respectively. It was a profitable weekend for me but once again I got a bit greedy on the Sunday and gave more than I should of back on Pumas 1st half tries.

I am in a pretty good mood as I type this though mainly due to hitting a 160/1 winner in the cycling yesterday (small stakes but still a nice win and my biggest price ever) and todays Vuelta plays ranging from 32/1 to 190/1 are up in the forum.

THE HANDICAP
It was just Oracle and I battling the bookies last night and we chatted Rugby Championship and Currie Cup with some betting strategy thrown in for good measure.

WEEKEND PLAYS
Here are some of my plays for the weekend

Rugby Champs to be tight!
The Rugby Championships takes centre stage this weekend but while I am looking forward to both games I am not that strong on anything betting wise.
This may change as kick off approaches but for now a double into what  I expect to be 2 close games.
I will update the previews below with any additional bets.

BET: 1 unit double  “Either team to win by 7 or less (incl draw)  in Sav NZL 1.38 onto Arg v Aus at 1.45 = 4.95/1 at Betxchange

Points to flow in the Big Hole!
All Currie Cup plays will be posted in this blog

The action gets going at 15h00 today with the Griquas up against the Cheetahs. The Cheetahs need a bonus point win and I expect the points to flow as they have done in all of the Griquas home matches this season.

BET: 4 units over 60.5 points at 0.87/1 at Betxchange

I am still pondering the Bulls v Lions game where the Lions are in to -2.5 from an opening call of +3.5. They have loaded some URC players but I wonder if they will be rusty and perhaps not 100% match fit with the URC as an objective.

A 14/1 Currie Cup acca!
I took 15/10 WP earlier in the week in anticipation the line would move and they are in to 15/20 which I will throw into an acca.

0.5 unit down at 15/1 at WSB
Griquas +9.5 at 10/11
Blue Bulls win at 11/8
Sharks -41.5 at 9/10
WP win at 15/20

There is also plenty of other sport on this weekend

Have a great weekend everyone
