Race 1

BRUH has run two fair races to date. He should have finished closer to the winner last time as he had to be steadied at the 100m mark. He is a progressive type and if taking to the polytrack, he can win a race of this nature. 

PINETTI cost himself winning last time as he hung inwards in the final 350m. He steps back up to 1400m which may be what he is looking for. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces. 

REJUVENATE hails from the visiting Paul Matchett stable. She raced from a handy position over 1600m at Turffontein last time, but found one too good in the form of Golden Warrior. Muzi Yeni retains the ride, and she should give the males a run for their money.

Race 2

MS SAKURA produced a promising debut effort over 1200m on the turf. She was green in running that day and stayed on to finish second. She found betting support which suggests that she was showing good work at home. She jumps from pole position and if taking to the surface, she should take a power of beating. 

ECHO showed very good improvement when second over this distance on the turf last time. She would have come on from the run and if confirming her recent improvement, she should pose a threat. 

NAUTICAL LANDING finished 0.4 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

Race 3

LIMELIGHT LEGEND raced from a handy position over 1800m on the turf last time, but found one too good in the form of Harun Al Rashid. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. He should have no issues with the rise to 2000m and from his good draw of three, he can go one better. 

SILVER PLATTER has good recent form lines to his name, but he has been costly to follow. Serino Moodley knows him well and he may be rewarded for consistency. 

APACHE AG was running on when second over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. He should love the rise to 2000m and the blinkers seem to have done the trick. If confirming his recent improvement, he should be involved at the finish. 

Race 4

ONE PATH stayed on at the finish over 1400m last time, but found one too good in the form of Among The Clouds. She won her maiden over this C&D, four runs ago. She jumps from a good draw of two and may be the horse to side with. 

PLUM PUDDING ran on powerfully when winning her last start over 1800m on the turf. She has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this distance. She is in a good space and merits healthy respect. 

SIGN OF FATE did not settle in the early stages of her last start over 1400m on the turf, but she stayed on to finish third. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. If switching off early, she should have a say. 

Race 5

QUEUE WING was touched off in his last start over 1800m on the turf. He has won once and finished second twice from as many starts over this C&D. 4kgs claiming apprentice Mxolisi Mbuto retains the ride, and he can notch up his eighth-career victory. 

SUNDANCE KID is better than his last start on the turf. He has won three times and finished third once from five starts over this C&D. If finding the form of his penultimate run, he should pose a threat. 

FEW DOLLARS MORE has cost himself in his last two starts as he has hung in the closing stages. He will strip a much fitter horse and if Cole Dicken is able to keep him on a straight line, he can return to winning ways.

 

 

Race 6

TWO G’S raced from a handy position over this distance on the turf last time and stayed on to finish third. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. If taking to the polytrack, she should be too good for this field. 

GOODNESSGRACIOUSME ran a decent race when third over 1600m on this course last time. She won her only attempt over this distance. She is having her peak run and may be the horse to fill the exacta spot. 

SCHOOL POLICY finished 0.05 lengths behind MAGICAL VIEW last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. She will strip much fitter and cannot be ignored. 

Race 7

DANUBE followed up his maiden victory with a good second-place finish over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. He set the pace before getting caught late by Run To Rio. Apprentice Damyan Pillay takes the 4kgs off his back. He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back. 

BANK STREET is having his first run for Stuart Ferrie. His last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth was fair. He has dropped to a competitive rating and if taking to the surface, he should have good improvement to come. 

MAC HARDY ran on when second over this C&D last time. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from his awkward draw, and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

Race 8

MR MASTER STARTER rallied late when third in the Non-Black Type KwaZulu-Natal Stakes last time. He has won three times and finished third twice from six starts over this C&D. If not in need of this outing, he should be competitive. 

BOSUM BUDDY has finished third in her last three starts. She carries a handy galloping mass of 54.5kgs and if all went well with her travels, she should give the males a run for their money. 

THISISWHATITMEANS is a winner of his last two starts, the latest of which was over 1400m on this course. He was an impressive winner of his penultimate outing over this C&D. He will be mowing down the frontrunners and can bring up the hat-trick. 

Race 9

ETHEREAL VIEW ran on well when second over 1400m last time, but got outrun late by Ubukhwebezana. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She has won over this distance previously. From her good draw of two, she can return to winning ways. 

LADYBUG finished 0.7 lengths behind AVERNIAN GODDESS last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. She will strip much fitter and with luck in running, she can go close. 

AVERNIAN GODDESS kept on finding when winning her last start over this C&D. She received a five-pound penalty for that victory. She is in a good space and merits healthy respect
