We take a look at some of the live betting options available to punters on Wednesday in our Daily Diary.
CYCLING
The Vuelta a Espana continues with Stage 17 which should in theory come to a bunch finish. Sam Bennett has proved himself the fastest man in the field and he is priced at 7/10 for the stage win, one thing that would stop us taking the short price is the fact that there are expected to be cross-winds on the stage and this can cause chaos with the peloton splitting. There will be in-running betting on the stage, but you can also bet on rider match-ups where for example Nairo Quintana is 17/20 to beat Rafal Majka .

There are also Outright Markets on offer, but Primoz Roglic does appear to have this Tour all but wrapped up and he is 1/12 favourite. Other options include a Top 3 finish where Pogacar, Valverde and Angel Lopez appear to be fighting it out for the two remaining podium spots and while the King of the Mountains looks close to over with Bouchard a 9/20 favourite there is a chance that one of the better climbers like Jakob Fuglsang priced at 7/1 could yet reel him in.

The Tour of Britain is also under way and betting on this stage will be available on Wednesday morning.
HORSE RACING
Local Horse Racing takes place at Scottsville in Pietermaritzburg on Wednesday with the first race due off at 13h00 and the 8th and final race at 16h40.
One of the best bets on the card looks to come in the 2nd race with Horse No. 5, Duke Of York, currently priced at 8/10 and the Pick 6 certainly looks tough to catch with plenty of open races and it may pay to banker Mighty Smart, Horse No. 7 in the 8th and final race currently priced at 11/10.

CRICKET
For those who enjoy late nights the Caribbean Premier League continues with the Patriots up against the Tridents.
The Patriots are currently priced at 12/10 with the Tridents 4/6 and there are plenty of markets on offer such as Batsman Match Runs, Batsman to score a Fifty in the Match and Batsman Total Match Fours.

A quick look ahead to the weekends Golf with the PGA Tour getting going with a new season with The Greenbrier Classic. Bryson Dechambeau is the 12/1 favourite in what looks a very open field and you can get 16/1 and better the balance.
The European Tour continues with the KLM Open where American, Patrick Reed is an 8/1 favourite with Thomas Pieters and Sergio Garcia both priced at 16/1.
We will have a tip on each of these Tournaments in Thursdays Diary, but for now perhaps consider a bit of Zander Lombard at 6/1 in the top South African market in the KLM Open.
