PSL and Carabao Cup Football punters have to look forward to on Tuesday and we take a closer look in our Betting Diary.
FOOTBALL
Wits host Sundowns in a crucial PSL match on Tuesday night. Wits are currently 5th on the log 15 points behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs but with 4 games in hand. Sundowns have played 3 games more than them and sit 5 points above them on the table in 3rd.
Both sides are coming off victories with Wits having beaten Arrows 1-0 on the road last time out, their 4th successive league game to deliver for under 2.5 goal backers. Sundowns have won 2 in a row, both home matches against Stellenbosch and AmaZulu and 4 of their last 6 games have had 2 goals or less in them.
There was nothing to separate these teams in the League last season with both matches they played finishing as 1-1 draws and the last 7 PSL matches between the sides have had 2 goals or less in them.
Wits are 21/10 for the win with the draw 41/20 and Sundowns 29/20 and looking at the goal market over 2.5 goals is 14/10 and under 2.5 goals at 5/10. There is seldom much between these sides and the bet that we fancy here is the draw at 41/20.

The English Football League Cup or Carabao Cup also has a fixture on Tuesday night with Aston Villa at home to Liverpool.
The betting may at first look surprising with Villa 3/10 favourites and the draw 6/1 and Liverpool 6/1, but that is because Liverpool have bigger fish to fry and will, no doubt, field a much weakened side for this fixture. There are also a host of Exotic Markets available on the match.

HORSE RACING
Local horse racing takes place at the Fairview Polytrack, an 8 race card starting at 12:25 and finishing at 16:35.
The card has a fairly open look to it, but in Race No. 7, Horse No. 1 Meryl will be a popular Pick Six Banker at a current price of 7/10 for the win. Our fancy for the day comes in the 8th Race, Horse No. 2, Finley Hill currently priced at 4/1 for the victory.
