BLOEMFONTEIN CELTIC v BAROKA FC – Click here to bet

Bloemfontein Celtic required penalties in the Quarter-Finals against TS Sporting after the sides finished 1-1 after the 90 minutes. In the Round of 16 they beat Maritzburg 3-2 at home and they also beat AmaZulu 4-1 at home in the Round of 32.

Baroka edged Black Leopards 1-0 at home in their Quarter-Final, but in the Round of 16 they required penalties to see off lower division, Hungry Lions after the sides drew 2-2. Baroka edged Polokwane City 1-0 away in their Round of 32 match.

Betting

Bloemfontein Celtic 12/10

Draw 22/10

Baroka 23/10

Suggested Bet: The draw at 22/10

It is hard to tell how these teams are going to come out of the lockdown, but one thing I would be surprised of is if we see a lot of goals and I think this will be a tight game with the draw a big runner.

MAMELODI SUNDOWNS v BIDVEST WITS – Click here to bet

Sundowns were too good for Highlands Park winning 1-0 on the road in their Quarter-Final and they had seen off The Vaal University of Technology 2-0 at home in their Round of 16 match and then in their Round of 32 game they edged the Derby 1-0 against SuperSport United. Sundowns are still very much in contention for the PSL Title, trailing Kaizer Chiefs by 4 points, but with a game in hand.

Wits were in rampant form in their last 8 encounter beating Real Kings 4-0 on the road. They also saw off Chippa United 2-0 at home without raising much of a sweat in their Round of 16 game and despite getting a red card they saw off Orlando Pirates on penalties in the Round of 32 with teams finishing 3-3. Wits currently sit 6th on the PSL log.

Betting

Sundowns 9/10

Draw 12/5

Wits 3/1

Suggested Bet: The draw at 12/5

South African Cup games tend to be Iow scoring and I am expecting both teams to adopt a conservative strategy. The draw double works at just shy of 10/1 for those interested in a longer shot play.
