TATSURO TAIRA vs HYUNSUNG PARK

Flyweight Main Event:

Tatsuro Taira is a young Japanese fighter who is known for his well-balanced fighting style and technique, he rapidly made his way up the UFC flyweight rankings after winning his first 6 fights in a row. It is worth noting that of these victories, 4 came by finish and 2 by decision.

Despite his strong start within the organization, he faced his toughest test yet in the form of Brandon Royval when they met in October last year and he ended up on the wrong end of a split decision after 5 rounds.

Hyunsung Park, hailing from Korea, has had a short run of just 3 appearances in the UFC, but in this time, he has proved he is dangerous on feet and on the canvas as each of his bouts have concluded in either a submission or knockout stoppage in his favour.

He has improved with each opportunity he gets to step into the octagon, and his latest action took place a few months ago in May, when he dominated Carlos Hernandez to take home a round 1 submission victory.

Taira 1.30

Park 3.70

PREDICTION:

Although I think this will be a competitive match up in the early stages, Taira has a higher level of experience and will pick up points on the judge’s scorecard throughout the bout to win by decision.

CHRIS DUNCAN vs MATEUSZ REBECKI

Lightweight Co-Main Event:

Chris Duncan is a grappling specialist from Scotland who fought twice in the Contender Series before earning his UFC debut in 2023, he now sits on a total of 5 fights under the institution of which he has won 4 and lost just 1.

His defeat came in 2024 against Manuel Torres where he lost by 1st round submission, however, he bounced back quickly with 2 submission victories, the most recent being when he met with Jordan Vucenic and tapped him in the 2nd round.

Mateusz Rebecki, fighting out of Poland also fought a bout in the Contender Series and then made his debut in 2023. This means these fighters enter the weekend on the same UFC record as Rebecki has won 4 and lost 1 as well.

He started his run with 3 wins in a row and then lost to Diego Ferreira by round 3 knockout just before the round ended. The last time he stepped foot in the octagon was when he picked up a split decision triumph over Myktybek Orolbai at UFC 308 in October.

Duncan 2.80

Rebecki 1.47

PREDICTION:

Duncan will likely look to play to his strengths by initiating the grappling exchanges, but Rebecki is a skilled wrestler in his own right and should be able to weather the pressure. I’m backing Rebecki to secure a knockout victory.

ELVES BRENER vs ESTEBAN RIBOVICS

Lightweight Fight:

Elves Brener is a Brazilian mixed martial artist with well-rounded skills in both grappling and striking. He has made five appearances in the UFC, holding a record of 3 wins and 2 losses. Brener will be eager to return to the win column after suffering back-to-back defeats in 2024, most recently losing by third-round knockout to Joel Alvarez.

His opponent, Esteban Ribovics, hails from Argentina and is known for his crisp striking and impressive durability. Since making his UFC debut in 2023, Ribovics has fought five times, compiling a record of 3 wins and 2 losses. In his most recent outing, he faced Nasrat Haqparast in March but was outpointed over three rounds, ultimately losing by decision.

Brener 3.10

Ribovics 1.40

PREDICTION:

I expect this fight to be explosive from both sides — with Ribovics pushing for a knockout and Brener desperate to avoid a third straight loss. Given both fighters' aggressive styles and finishing capabilities, my pick is: Fight will not go the distance.

SUGGESTED BETS:

Tatsuro Taira vs Hyunsung Park
