We take a look at 3 of the matches taking place in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night and suggest a bet in each of them.

Tottenham v Sporting Lisbon – Click here to bet
Tottenham currently top Group D on 7 points just 1 point ahead of 3rd place Sporting. Marseille are crammed in between them also on 6 points, a point behind Tottenham.
Tottenham beat Eintracht Frankfurt 3-2 last time out. They have a 100% home record having also beaten Marseille 2-0 on Match Day 1.
Sporting have suffered back-to-back defeats at home to Marseille and away at Marseille and their other away game was a 3-0 win at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Tottenham’s confidence took a real knock on the weekend in their loan loss to Newcastle and I think that Sporting Lisbon can take advantage and get something out of this game.
Suggested Bet: The Handicap, Sporting Lisbon +0.5 goals at 7/4
Barcelona v Bayern Munich – Click here to bet
Bayern Munich are flying high at the top of Group C with a 100% record after 4 games, but there is everything to play for, for Barcelona who currently sit 3rd on 4 points, 3 points behind Inter.
Barcelona drew 3-3 at home with Inter last time out and lost both their away games, 1-0 to Inter and 2-0 to Bayern Munich. Barcelona are going well in the League with a couple of nice victories under their belt in recent times.
Bayern Munich have scored 7 goals without conceding in their two home games and their last match was a 4-2 away victory over Plzen.
I think given the importance of this game for Barcelona they may just catch Bayern Munich off guard and grab the victory.
Suggested Bet: Barcelona win at 27/20
Ajax v Liverpool – Click here to bet
Ajax are currently 3rd in Group A, 6 points behind 2nd placed Liverpool with just two games left to play. Their opened their campaign with a 4-0 home win over Rangers, but since then have suffered 3 successive defeats including going down 2-1 at Liverpool.
Liverpool opened their campaign with a 4-1 loss at Napoli, but have since won 3 in a row including a 7-1 away win over Rangers last time out. Liverpool didn’t look good in the League on the weekend losing 1-0 at Nottingham and I think it is all eyes on the Champions League for them now.
The goals really flow in Ajax games whether in the Champions League or domestic League and the over 2.5 goals is trading at 5/10. It is a bit short for my pocket and I am going to stick my neck out and say we are going to get 4 goals or more in this one.
Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 12/10
