BettingDiaryThere are 5 English Premier League matches taking pace on Sunday and we suggest a bet in each of them.

Let’s start as always with a look at the latest English Premier League Outright betting and here Manchester City are trading at short priced favourites at 1/4 heading into the weekend.

Aston Villa v Brentford – Click here to bet

Aston Villa are 17th on the table hovering just above the relegation zone and they have only won 1 of their last 6 games. Last time out they lost 3-0 at home to Fulham.

Brentford are 10th on the log with 1 win and 2 draws in their last 5 matches. They drew 0-0 at home to Chelsea in their last start, but their last away trip ended in tears with a 5-1 beating at Newcastle.

Aston Villa are 11/10 to win the match, but I don’t have the confidence in them and given 30% of their games have failed to reach the 3 goal mark I am going under 2.5 goals here.

Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 10/11

Leeds v Fulham – Click here to bet

Leeds are currently 16th on the log and they have now gone 7 matches without a victory. They were beaten 2-0 away at Leicester on Thursday and they have only taken 2 points from the last 9 they have played for at home.

Fulham are 9th on the log and they have 2 wins in their last 5 starts. In midweek they beat Aston Villa 3-0 at home and prior to that they drew 2-2 at home to Bournemouth while their last away game was a 3-1 defeat to West Ham.

10 out of the 11 Fulham matches have delivered profits for over 2.5 goal backers this season and both teams have found the back of the net in 8 of their last 9 matches. Over 2.5 goals is 15/20, but I am going to go for 4 goals or more in this one at a bigger price.

Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 18/10

Southampton v Arsenal – Click here to bet

Southampton currently sit 14th on the log and they won their first match in 5 starts last time out beating Bournemouth 1-0 on the road. They have only won 1 out of 5 matches at home this season.

They face Arsenal who are top of the log leading Manchester City by 4 points. The Gunners have won their last 4 matches including beating Leeds 1-0 on the road last time out.

I don’t think Southampton are going to be pushovers here and I am going for Arsenal to win by exactly 1 goal.

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Arsenal -1, the draw at 28/10

Wolves v Leicester   - Click here to bet

This is a relegation six pointer with Wolves currently sitting 18th and Leicester bottom of the table. Wolves have lost 4 of their last 5 games and went down 2-1 away to Palace in their last start. Their last home game was a 1-0 win over Nottingham.

Leicester have moved off the bottom of the table after a 2-0 home win over Leeds on Thursday and they have no only lost 1 of their last 4 games They have lost all 5 of their away games this season.

Leicester have conceded an average of nearly 4 goals per game on the road this season and I am backing Wolves to reach the 2 goal mark here.

Suggested Bet: Wolves, Goals over 1.5 at 11/10

Tottenham v Newcastle – Click here to bet

Tottenham are sitting 3rd on the table, but they have lost 2 of their last 4 games including a 2-0 away defeat to Manchester United last time out. Their home form is solid and they beat Everton 2-0 in their last home start to keep up a 100% record.

Newcastle are 6th on the log and undefeated in their last 6 starts winning 3 of their last 4. They beat Everton 1-0 at home in midweek and their last away game was a goalless draw at Manchester United.

Tottenham have only conceded 4 goals in 5 home games and Newcastle have only conceded 4 in 5 road trips. I am looking for a tight, low scoring encounter here.

Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 19/20
