Aston Villa v Chelsea – Click here to bet

Aston Villa are currently 16th on the log undefeated in their last 4, but with 3 draws in that time. Last time out they played to a 1-1 draw at Nottingham and their last home game was a 1-0 win over Southampton. Under 2.5 goal backers would have collected profits in Aston Villa’s last 4 matches.

Chelsea are 4th on the table with 4 wins from their last 5 games, last time out they beat Wolves 3-0 at home and their last away game was a 2-1 win at Crystal Palace.

Chelsea’s last 6 games have all delivered with an aggregate of 2 or 3 goals and I am backing that run to continue to add to the profits we had collected in their last match

Suggested Bet: Goal range, 2-3 goals at 1/1

Leeds v Arsenal – Click here to bet

Leeds are currently 14th on the log, but on a bad run with 2 draws and 3 losses in their last 5 games. They were beaten 2-1 on the road by Palace last time out and their last home game was a goalless draw against Aston Villa.

The Gunners are currently top of the table with 8 wins and a loss in their opening 9 matches. They have won 3 in a row including beating Liverpool 3-2 at home last time out and their last away game was a comfortable 3-0 victory over Brentford.

Leeds look to be in trouble and Arsenal are playing with confidence and I am backing Arsenal to win this one by more than a goal.

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Arsenal -1.5 goals at 29/20

Manchester United v Newcastle United – Click here to bet

This match sees 5th place Manchester United take on 6th place Newcastle. United have won 4 of their last 5 while Newcastle have only tasted defeat once in their last 5 matches.

United beat Everton 2-1 on the road last time out, their last home game was a 3-1 victory over Arsenal. Looking at Newcastle’s recent form their last two games have been convincing victories, 5-1 at home to Brentford and 4-1 on the road to Fulham.

This is a game that screams goals both in terms of the way the sides are playing in the League and also the head-to-head record with 3 of the last 4 matches between the sides delivering 4 goals or more.

Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 33/20

Southampton v West Ham – Click here to bet

Southampton are currently sitting 17th on the log and they have lost their last 4 matches including getting hammered 4-0 by City away last time out. Their last home game was a 2-1 defeat to Everton.

West Ham are 13th on the log and have climbed nicely up the table with back-to-back victories at home to Fulham and Wolves. Their last away game was a 1-0 defeat to Everton and overall on the road this season they have won just once in 4 attempts.

While 6 of the 9 Southampton matches have reached the 3 goal mark only 2 of the 9 West Ham games have delivered profits for over 2.5 goal backers.

I can see this being quite a tight affair and am going to go for under 2.5 goals as my main bet.

Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 9/10

Liverpool v Manchester City – Click here to bet

Having pushed Manchester City so close last season Liverpool are now trailing them by 13 points with 1 game in hand. Liverpool are without a win in their last 3, going down 3-2 on the road to Arsenal last time out prior to that drawing 3-3 at home to Brighton. They are undefeated at home this season with 2 wins and 2 draws scoring 15 goals and conceding 5.

Manchester City are 2nd to Arsenal with 7 wins and 2 draws in their 9 matches. They have won their last 3 League games by at least 3 goals, but were held to a goalless draw by Copenhagen in their UEFA Championship in midweek. Liverpool by contrast goes 7-1 away victory over Rangers.

Manchester City look to be in a different class this season and I can’t see Liverpool staying with them.

Suggested Bet: Manchester City win at 5/6
