BettingDiaryDSTV Premiership supporters have 5 matches to look forward to on Wednesday and we take a look at each of them from a betting angle.

AmaZulu v Maritzburg United – Click here to bet

AmaZulu are currently 10th on the table, but without a victory in their last 6 matches. Last time out they drew 1-1 away at Pirates and their last home game was a 1-0 defeat to Richards Bay.

Maritzburg are currently 14th on the table with 1 win in their last 5 games. They played out a goalless draw at Richards Bay in their last start and prior to that they were beaten 3-0 away at Stellenbosch.

This is likely to be a tight, low scoring affair and under 2.5 goals is trading at 8/15, for me though the value lies in the draw.

Suggested Bet: The draw at 2/1

Kaizer Chiefs v TS Galaxy – Click here to bet

Kaizer Chiefs saw a 5 match unbeaten run and a 3 match winning streak ended when they lost 2-1 at home to Chippa United last time out and they now sit 4th on the log, 2 points behind Sundowns, but having played 2 games more.

TS Galaxy are without a win in their last 7 games and sit 11th on the table. Incredibly they have now gone 7 matches without scoring and there have only been 7 goals in total in their 10 matches this season. Contrast this with Kaizer Chiefs where Chiefs last 4 games have all delivered profits for over 2.5 goal backers.

The goal stats of the two sides make that a tricky market to call and I am happy to take the price of 17/20 on Chiefs to beat the side that hasn’t scored in 630 minutes of football.

Suggested Bet: Kaizer Chiefs win at 17/20

Mamelodi Sundowns v Marumo Gallants – Click here to bet

Sundowns are top of the table with just 2 defeats in their opening 9 starts and they have won 4 of their last 5 fixtures. Last time out they beat AmaZulu 1-0 at home.

Marumo Gallants are sitting 2nd from bottom of the table with just 1 win in their last 9 games, that did come in their last start though, a 1-0 victory at a struggling TS Galaxy. Marumo Gallants matches have been low scoring with their last 5 games all delivering profits for under 2.5 goal backers and while Sundowns have been getting the victories they haven't been rampant. I am going for a correct score play here.

Suggested Bet: Correct Score 2-0 at 4/1

Richards Bay v Cape Town City – Click here to bet

Richards Bay are currently 2nd on the table, level on points with Sundowns, but having played 2 games more. They drew 0-0 at home to Maritzburg in their last start, their 2nd successive goalless draw and their 11 matches have resulted in just 10 goals in total with just 1 of the 11 games going over the 2.5 goal mark.

Cape Town City are 12th on the log and have recovered from a slow start to be undefeated in their last 6 games. They drew 1-1 at Arrows last time out and their last 6 games have all failed to reach the 3 goal mark.

Under 2.5 goals looks the way to bet here, but it is short priced at 40/85 and after some consideration I am going to go for the draw here.

Suggested Bet: The draw at 15/8

Swallows v Royal AM – Click here to bet

Swallows are currently bottom of the log with just 2 wins in their opening 10 games. They haven't won in their last 5 and last time out played a goalless draw at TS Galaxy. Their last home game was a 2-1 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs.

Royal AM are currently 9th on the log, but coming off back-to-back defeats away at SuperSport and at home to Richards Bay.

These teams both have over a 50% hit rate of over 2.5 goals in their games this season and that makes 18/10 that we get 3 goals or more in this game too tempting to resist.

Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 18/10
