FRIDAY

Maritzburg United v SuperSport United – Click here to bet

This Friday night clash pits 8th place Maritzburg United against 11th place SuperSport United they are just 1 point apart on the table and SuperSport United have a game in hand.

Maritzburg have won 2 of their last 3 games and are undefeated at home this season. They face a SuperSport side who are also in good form having taken 7 points from their last 9 and won their last 2 matches. SuperSport’s most recent victory was a 2-1 win over neighbours Sundowns and Maritzburg’s last match was a 1-0 victory over Pirates.

I think SuperSport are going to take plenty from their victory over Sundowns and I think there is some value backing them to win this match.

Suggested Bet: SuperSport win at 23/10

SATURDAY

AmaZulu v Chippa United – Click here to bet

AmaZulu are currently 4th on the table, but they haven't won in their last two matches. Last time out they played a goalless draw at Kaizer Chiefs and while earlier this season goals had flowed in AmaZulu matches they appeared to have dried up.

Chippa Unit are currently bottom of the table with just 1 win and 2 draws in their 7 starts. They haven't won in their last 4 and last time out were beaten 1-0 at home by Sundowns. Their last away game was a 3-2 defeat to Arrows.

These sides drew both their fixtures last season, but I am happy to put my head down and go for an AmaZulu home win here.

Suggested Bet: AmaZulu win at 19/20

Swallows v Stellenbosch – Click here to bet

Swallows are currently 9th on the log, 2 points and 4 positions ahead of Stellenbosch in 13th. Swallows last game was a 1-1 draw away at Marumo Gallants and their last home match was a 2-1 win over Sekhukhune. Both teams have scored in 4 of the 6 Swallows matches this season.

Stellenbosch only have a single victory to their credit this season and are coming off back-to-back defeats at home to Richards Bay and away at Mamelodi Sundowns.

The draw is understandably short here given these teams have drawn their last 4 matches in the League when up against each other and I am going to go with both teams to find the net.

Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, YES, at 5/4

Orlando Pirates v TS Galaxy – Click here to bet

Orlando Pirates are 5th on the log, 2 points and 1 position ahead of TS Galaxy who have a game in hand. Pirates lost 1-0 to Maritzburg United last time out in a game where they started 14/10 favourites. Their last home game was a 1-0 win over Marumo Gallants and Pirates home games have only averaged 1 goal each this season.

Galaxy have only lost once this season and that was in their last game going down 1-0 to Cape Town City. All 6 of the Galaxy matches have had 2 goals or less in them this season. I am going to go for a Correct Score pick here, Pirates 1-0.

Suggested Bet: Correct Score, Pirates 1-0 at 29/10

Mamelodi Sundowns v Golden Arrows – Click here to bet

Sundowns are top of the table after 7 matches having beaten Chippa United 1-0 on the road last time out. Prior to that they had lost 2-1 away to SuperSport.   Golden Arrows are currently 10th on the table and have recovered from a slow start and are undefeated in their last 4, winning their last 2 games 3-2 at home to Chippa United and 1-0 on the road to AmaZulu.

Sundowns did the double over Arrows last season and won this fixture 6-0 and I am going to go with history between these sides and back Sundowns to win by more than a goal.

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Sundowns -1.5 goals at 15/8
