The latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 3rd to 5th November including a 11/1 acca with @WorldSportsBet
Can you believe it? The Rugby World Cup is over and what a great Tournament it was. I finished nicely ahead of the bookies, but just as satisfying was watching the Springboks play their hearts out and get that 1 point victory over New Zealand last week.
We had backed the Boks as our Newsletter best bet and although the “Anytime Drop Goal” never landed, the South Africans certainly tried their best with some really optimistic attempts.
The disappointment of the weekend was the Bulls who we needed in the final leg of our 19/2 ACCA and all they had to do was finish within 6 points of Ulster. Unfortunately they made errors at crucial times (including while hot on attack in the final seconds) and lost by 7.
THE HANDICAP
The Handicap moved back to its regular 21h00 slot on Thursday night and I was joined by Pierre fresh from attending the RWC final. We talked all 8 URC matches and you can click here if you missed the show. We also chatted some RWC 2027 at the end of the show
SHARKS TO TURN IT ON AT THE STOOP
The Sharks face the Ospreys at The Stoop, Twickenham tonight and I imagine they will have plenty of support. They have had a rough start away to Munster and Leinster and I am hoping they can cut loose and score some points tonight.
Conditions look like being ok although there is a threat of showers before and after the game and you can read the full preview here (I have upped my stake a bit as confidence is building ahead of kick off)
BET: 5 units Sharks over 29.5 points at 17/20 at Sportingbet*
