BettingDiaryThere are 3 PSL matches taking place on Friday and we take a look at each of them from a betting angle.

GOLDEN ARROWS v BLACK LEOPARDS – Click here to bet

Golden Arrows have fallen out of the Top 8 and currently sit 9th on the table having only taken 3 points from the last 12 they have played for. Since returning from the break they lost 1-0 to Stellenbosch and drew 0-0 with Wits. 8 of their last 10 matches have delivered for under 2.5 goal backers and their PSL matches average 1.9 goals each.

Black Leopards got a much needed win to climb off the foot of the table when they beat Maritzburg 3-2 on Sunday. The result leaves them in 15th spot level on points with bottom placed Polokwane and Black Leopard games have averaged 2.5 goals this season.

Leopards won at home earlier this season 2-1.

Betting:

Golden Arrows 17/20

Draw 43/20

Black Leopards 38/10

Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, YES, at 1/1

Arrows games are generally tight, but Leopards showed they can score goals and I think we will get the net bulging at both ends.

BIDVEST WITS v AMAZULU – Click here to bet

Wits have played 3 games since returning from the COVID-19 break and all have been drawn with the last 2, goalless draws and they currently sit 5th on the table. Wits games have been the second lowest scoring in the Division with only 1.8 goals per game and only 5 of the 24 matches reaching 3 goals or more.

AmaZulu sit just outside the relegation playoff zone and they got a valuable point when they played to a goalless draw to Baroka last time out. 7 of their last 8 matches have delivered for under 2.5 goal backers and their matches this season have averaged 1.6 goals each.

Wits beat AmaZulu 3-0 in the reverse fixture.

Betting:

Bidvest Wits 11/20

Draw 57/20

AmaZulu 21/4

Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 27/20

While both these sides have been low scoring I actually think we could see goals in this game and historically these sides have served up a few.

MARITZBURG UNITED v MAMELODI SUNDOWNS – Click here to bet

Maritzburg United are 6th on the table, but in their return to action they saw a 4 match winning streak ended when they lost 3-2 to Black Leopards. Their matches this season averaged 1.8 goals each and 8 of the 25 goals have reached at least 3 goals.

Mamelodi Sundowns remain 2nd on the table, but they are on a bad run which has seen them take just 2 points from the last 9 they played for. They now trail Kaizer Chiefs by 6 points although they do have a game in hand. Sundowns matches have averaged 2.2 goals each this season with 10 of the 24 games delivering for over 2.5 goal backers.

Sundowns beat Maritzburg 2-1 earlier this season and both teams have found the net in 5 of the last 6 meetings between the sides.

Betting:

Maritzburg United 11/4

Draw 2/1

Mamelodi Sundowns 23/20

Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, YES, at 12/10

I am basing this on recent head-to-head stats between the sides and also the fact that Sundowns simply have to push hard for the win and they will be vulnerable on the break.
