Locally it is the Telkom Knockout Cup Final and Maritzburg United play Mamelodi Sundowns.

Maritzburg are the underdogs at 11/4 with the draw 2/1 and Sundowns on offer at 23/20. Over 2.5 goals is quoted at 5/4 and if you fancy both teams to find the back of the net in regulation time you can get 19/20.

The Presidents Cup continues in the early hours of Saturday morning and finishes with the singles on Sunday.

RUGBY

The Cape Town Sevens will build to a dramatic climax over the weekend with plenty of fixtures on both Saturday and Sunday for punters to get stuck into and there will be in-running betting on all of the matches.

HORSE RACING

There are 3 horse race meetings taking place locally this weekend with Kenilworth and Turffontein on Saturday and Scottsville on Sunday.

The Turffontein Standside Meeting is a 10 race card starting at 12:25 and finishing at 17:50 and our best bet on the card comes in Race No. 7 where we fancy Horse No. 7, Fly Away at a current price of 14/10.

There is big racing down in Cape Town with a 10 race card starting at 12:10 and finishing at 17:35.

Highlight of the day will be the WSB Fillies Guineas being run over 1600 metres and here Kelpie is a 7/2 favourite with True To Life 9/2, Third Runway 15/2 and you can get 17/2 and better the balance.

In Auro a 5/10 shot in Race 9 will be a popular Pick Six banker on the day and looking at the size of the fields we are expecting the Exotics to pay.

Scottsville Race Meeting on Sunday is an 8 race card getting off at 12:40 and set to finish at 16:45.

It looks a competitive card with some open races including Race No. 7 over 1600 metres where American Princess is the 9/2 favourite. Our value play for the day comes in the 2nd Race, Horse No. 15, Tribal Air currently priced at 12/1 a win and 15/10 for a Top 4 finish.
