BettingDiaryTuesday’s sporting action includes FA Cup 3rd Round replays and Big Bash League cricket and we take a closer look in our Daily Betting Diary.

FOOTBALL

There are 6 FA CUP 3rd round replays taking place on Tuesday and Tottenham v Middlesbrough will be televised live.

Tottenham are 1/4 favourites to win the match with Middlesbrough priced at 21/2 and the draw at 19/4. Jose Mourinho could certainly do with a deep Cup run to lift the morale of the club and we expect a fairly open match and would suggest over 3.5 goals at odds of 15/10.

Another game that catches the eye is Tranmere up against Watford, the sides drew 3-3 at Watford in the original fixture and we did note at the time that Watford may well have their eye on the relegation battle in the EPL.

The Hornets are 13/20 to win on the road with the draw 3/1 and Tranmere are on offer at 39/10. Watford have been in superb form in the EPL and have climbed outside of the relegation zone for the first time, but we still feel that’s where their focus must lie and we think there could be a little bit of value here in backing Tranmere to win the game at 79/20 or the (+1) handicap at 12/10.

CRICKET

The Big Bash League continues on Tuesday with the Brisbane Heat 7/10 to see off the Adelaide Strikers on 12/10.

The Heat failed to chase down a massive 213 total set by the Scorchers in their last start and with the 50% win ratio after 8 games they will be desperate for a victory to keep them in touch.

The Adelaide Strikers currently sit 4th on the log and they have broken 3 match losing streak when comfortably beating the Renegades in their last start.

There are a host of Exotic Markets available and we like over 167.5 runs in the first innings at 17/2 given some of the high scoring fixtures these sides have played in of late.

International cricket lovers will look forward to India against Australia 1st ODI with India trading at 7/10 and Australia at 12/10.

We expect the bat to dominate here and once again like a run spread going over 290.5 points in the first innings score at odds of 17/20.

HORSE RACING

Local horse racing takes place at the Kenilworth Racetrack, an 8 race card starting at 13:10 and scheduled to finish at 17:20.

The first 3 races have some short priced favourites with Bollinger 14/10 in Race 1, Our Prized Jewel, a first-timer 17/20 in the 2nd and the shortest of them all Viva Rio currently 7/20 to win the 3rd and this one will prove a popular Pick Six banker. We notice a return to form of the Snaith stable over the weekend and like the chances of Horse No. 2, Somewhere In Time in the 6th Race run over a 1000 metres with Somewhere In Time currently priced at 9/2 for the win.
