BettingDiaryFootball fans have plenty to look forward to on Wednesday night with both Absa Premiership games as well as FA Cup 3rd Round replays and we take a closer look in our Daily Betting Diary.

FOOTBALL

There are two huge PSL matches taking place on Wednesday night and first up we take a look at 4th placed Bidvest Wits hosting 5th placed Bloemfontein Celtic.

Wits are undefeated in their last 6 matches and are coming off a goalless draw away at Mamelodi Sundowns. They trail leaders Kaizer Chiefs by 14 points, but do have 4 games in hand. Bloem Celtic have bounced back from successive defeats to draw 1 and win 2 of their last 3 matches. Last season the away side won on each occasion these teams met in the League.

Wits are 5/4 for the win with the draw 21/10 and Celtic 47/20.

The clash of the night though is Orlando Pirates who currently sit 6th on the log playing 2nd placed Mamelodi Sundowns.

Pirates are unbeaten in their last 5 and Mamelodi Sundowns haven’t lost in 6. Recent head-to-heads in the League between the sides make interesting reading with two goalless draws last season while the season before the away side won 3-1 on each occasion.

Pirates are 17/10 for the win, the draw is 2/1 and Sundowns are 18/10 and we think the value lies with the draw here as these sides look very evenly matched.

There are also two FA CUP 3rd Round replays on Wednesday night and the televised game is Manchester United at home to Wolves with United 9/10, the draw 51/20 and Wolves on offer at 16/5.

Both these sides will be keen on a Cup run and Manchester United have been playing quite well of late with Wolves struggling a bit to maintain early season momentum. We like the 9/10 on offer that United do the job in 90 minutes.

CRICKET

There is a double header of Big Bash matches on Wednesday with the Sydney Thunder 4/6 to beat the Melbourne Renegades who are 5/4 and the Perth Scorchers are 13/10 against the Melbourne Stars who are 5/8.

We think they may be a bit of value in the Perth Scorchers at 13/10 given they have won 3 in a row although they are against the top of the table Stars who have won 8 from 9 including their last 5 on the trot.

There are a number of Exotic Markets available on each match.
