We take a look at Wednesday’s sports betting highlights in our Daily Diary.
CRICKET
New Zealand will be hoping to bounce back to form when they take on India in the 1st ODI on Wednesday. They are not surprisingly 2/1 underdogs for the game with India priced at 4/10 and there are a host of Exotic Markets available including Top Home and Away Batsmen and Bowlers.

The U19 Cricket World Cup continues with the 7th place play off between South Africa and Afghanistan.
Afghanistan had few problems seeing off South Africa in the Group Stages and the 15/20 about them doing so again looks tempting with South Africa priced at 11/10. Rather than go against the South Africans, the bet we fancy is Parsons to be the Top Home Batsman at 5/2.

FOOTBALL
There is just the 1 FA Cup 4th Round replay on Wednesday night, it is a big one with Tottenham at home to Southampton.
Tottenham are coming off a 2-0 home win over Manchester City in the League and they are 8/10 to beat Southampton with the draw at 11/4 and Southampton 7/2. We like the home team to win this one.

Locally the Nedbank Cup Round of 32 starts on Wednesday night and Chippa United hosts TS Galaxy with the PSL side 19/20 for the win, the draw 12/5 and the visitors 3/1.
TS Galaxy currently sit 12th in the NFD and went down 2-1 at home to Morocco Swallows on the weekend. Chippa United are battling in the bottom half of the PSL, currently in 12th position having not won in their last 4 League games, but we think they will be too strong for Galaxy at 19/20.

HORSE RACING
Local horse racing takes place at the Scottsville Racetrack on Wednesday, an 8 race card getting going at 12:35 and set to finish at 16:40 with the final leg of the Pick Six.
There are a few firm favourites in the early races, but the Pick Six looks tough to catch with some big fields and if the betting is anything to go by some wide open races. Punters who are looking for a banker may well settle on Captains Fort in the first leg, Race No. 3, Horse No. 9, currently priced at 17/10 for the win. Alternatively it may be worth waiting for the last where Horse No. 6, Luxemburg is a 28/10 favourite in a 16 horse field.
