Manchester City 1 / 5 Draw 62/10 Leicester 11/1

City come into the midweek program in fifth spot in the standings, 1 point behind Chelsea and 6 shy of third placed Forest. Looking down there a re a whole host of teams on their heels recent league form is patchy, 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 defeats in their last 6. Last weekend City kept their hopes a domestic silverware alive when they won 2-1 at Bournemouth to seal and FA Cup semi final spot.

Leicester are second bottom, behind Ipswich on goal difference and the gap to fourth bottom Wolves is 9 points and could well have grown by match day. They have lost 13 of the last 14 league games with a surprise 2-1 win at Spurs in late January the only plus point.

The Verdict

Haaland is out injured for City for the bulk of the rest of the season but I thought they were really good in the cup at the weekend and I think they will put Leicester away. My play is over 3.5 goals in total.

Bet: Total goals over 3.5 at 19/20 with Betway

Southampton 46/10 Draw 31/10 Crystal Palace 6/10

With just 9 points Southampton's relegation will confirmed soon and they haven't earned a league point at home since they beat Everton 1-0 here back on the 2nd November.

Palace have won 7, drawn 2 and lost just 1 of their last 10 league games and are just below half way in the standings. If they keep that sort of form going they could yet threaten the European qualification spots but they also have an FA Cup semi final to look forward to after a fine 3-0 win at Fulham in the quarter finals at the weekend.

The Verdict

Palace need to re-focus after a cracking FA Cup win and I think they will be professional enough to get the job done. Eze is the anytime goalscorer pick.

Bet: Anytime goalscorer Eze at 1.95/1 with Betway

Liverpool 0.37/1 Draw 4/1 Everton 72/10

Liverpool finished the previous round of league games 12 points clear of Arsenal at the top of the log. Their 2 most recent outings saw them exit the UCL at the hands of PSG before a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle in the EFL Cup final at Wembley. They have lost just the 1 league game all season but were held to a 2-2 draw by Everton in the first Merseyside derby of the season at Goodison in mid February.

Everton's last 4 league games have all finished in score draws but it's now 9 league games without defeat and a tally of 34 points sees them safe.

The Verdict

There was plenty of needle in that first derby clash and much has happened since then with Liverpool's sole focus now on wrapping up the title. It will raise a few eyebrows if Liverpool don't return to winning ways after the defeats in cup competitions but although Everton have found the net in each of their last 9 league games I'm with a home win with a clean sheet.

Bet: Which teams to score? Liverpool only at 11/10 with betway
