There are 7 DSTV Premiership matches taking place this weekend and we have a look at 3 of them from a betting angle.
FRIDAY
SWALLOWS v CAPE TOWN CITY
Swallows are off to a slow start in the PSL and currently sit 12th after 4 matches with just 1 victory. They are coming off back-to-back defeats, 3-0 at home to SuperSport and 1-0 away at Pirates. Scoring has been their problem they have only scored 1 goal this season.
Cape Town City sit just 1 position above them in 11th on the table with having only played 3 matches. Their last game was a disappointing 3-0 home loss to Stellenbosch and prior to that they beat Royal AM 2-1 on the road.
Swallows edged this fixture 3-2 last season with the reverse finishing 1-1 in Cape Town.

Swallows 23/20
Draw 2/1
Cape Town City 28/10
Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, YES, at 21/20
This bet is certainly not supported by Swallows stats this season, but I am expecting them to get on the score sheet and Cape Town City are generally good for goals on the road. This bet would have arrived in both fixtures last season.
SATURDAY
ORLANDO PIRATES v MAMELODI SUNDOWNS
Without doubt the clash of the weekend as 4th placed Pirates take on defending Champions and current leaders, Sundowns.
Pirates are on 8 points from their 4 matches, Sundowns have 10 from 4 and both teams are undefeated. Pirates coming off back-to-back victories away at Chippa United 3-1 and at home to Swallows 1-0, prior to that they had drawn both their matches.
Sundowns had a comfortable home win against Galaxy last time out winning 3-0 and prior to that they beat Kaizer Chiefs at home 2-0. The only points dropped were in their only away match, playing a goalless draw at Chippa United.
Sundowns did the double over Pirates last season and won this fixture 3-0.

Orlando Pirates 17/10
Draw 21/10
Mamelodi Sundowns 33/20
Suggested Bet: The draw at 21/20
Sundowns have got off to a brisk start, but I have been impressed with Pirates and I am expecting a tight, low scoring encounter and I think the draw is a big runner.
SUNDAY
MARUMO GALLANTS v KAIZER CHIEFS
Marumo Gallants have only taken 1 point from their opening 3 matches and they currently sit bottom of the table. Last time out they lost 1-0 away at Maritzburg and their only home game was a goalless draw against Orlando Pirates.
Chiefs sit 13th on the log with 4 points from their opening 4 matches and they are coming off back-to-back defeats, 4-1 at home to Royal AM and 2-0 on the road against Sundowns.

Marumo Gallants 7/2
Draw 22/10
Kaizer Chiefs 8/10
Suggested Bet: Kaizer Chiefs win at 8/10
Looks like another long, hard season for Chiefs supporters, but if they are going to get 3 points on the road it will surely come against a team like Marumo Gallants.
