BettingDiaryLocal punters have midweek PSL action to look forward to and we take a look at 3 of the games taking place on Tuesday and suggest a bet in each.

AMAZULU v CHIPPA UNITED

AmaZulu have begun climbing the table again after a slow start and they currently sit 8th on the log with an amazingly 11 draws in 16 matches including drawing their last 6 games. Last time they drew 1-1 at Chippa United and their last home game was a 1-1 draw with Orlando Pirates. They are undefeated at home this season with 6 draws and 2 victories in 8 starts and AmaZulu home games have averaged under a goal each with just 7 goals in total in 8 matches and not one of their home games has reached the 3 goal mark.

Chippa United are 2nd from bottom of the log and have only won 1 of their last 9 matches. Last time out they drew 1-1 at home to AmaZulu and their last away game was a 3-1 loss at TS Galaxy. They have lost 5 and won 2 of their 7 away games and Chippa United away matches have averaged 2.1 goals each with 3 of the 7 matches delivering profits had you been backing over 2.5 goals.

AmaZulu won this fixture 3-1 last season.

AmaZulu 17/20

Draw 9/4

Chippa United 4/1

Suggested Bet: The draw at 9/4

The sides played only a few days ago and that match finished level and given the recent AmaZulu run of draws I simply have to take anything above 2/1 the draw here

MAMELODI SUNDOWNS v BAROKA

Sundowns are 12 points clear at the top of the table and they have yet to taste defeat this season, scoring 26 goals and conceding 5 in 15 matches. They have played 8 at home winning 7 and drawing 1 and their home games have averaged 2.6 goals each with Sundowns scoring 17 and conceding 4. Last time out they beat SuperSport 1-0 away.

Baroka are currently bottom of the table with just 2 wins in 14 starts. Last time out they drew 0-0 at home to Cape Town City and their last away game was also a goalless draw at Orlando Pirates. Baroka have yet to win on the road this season with 2 draws and 5 losses and their games have averaged 2.3 goals each with 4 of the 7 matches finishing with 2 goals or less in them.

Mamelodi Sundowns 2/7

Draw 9/2

Baroka 11/1

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Sundowns (-1) at 17/20

Top of the table, Sundowns look to be far too strong for Baroka and I fancy them to win this game easily and for this bet to arrive we need them to win by more than a goal something they have achieved in both matches against Baroka last season.

SWALLOWS v ORLANDO PIRATES

Swallows are battling this season and they currently sit 14th on the log with just 2 wins in their first 15 games. Last time out they lost 1-0 at home to Marumo Gallants, but prior to that they did beat Baroka 1-0 on the road. They have only won one of 8 home games this season with 3 draws and 4 losses and their home games have averaged 1.8 goals each with only 2 of the matches reaching the 3 goal mark.

Pirates are 3rd on the log, 14 points behind Mamelodi Sundowns and they beat TS Galaxy 2-0 at home on the weekend and are unbeaten in their last 5 starts. Pirates have drawn 5 and won 2 of their 8 away matches and those games have averaged 1.8 goals each with 5 of the 8 games delivering profits had you been backing under 2.5 goals.

Pirates beat Swallows 1-0 when they met in September and last season both fixtures finished 1-1.

Swallows 5/2

Draw 18/10

Orlando Pirates 15/10

Suggested Bet: Pirates win at 15/10

I am impressed with the way Pirates are playing at the moment and they come up against a Swallows side that is really lacking in confidence. The draw is predictably short at 18/10, but I think the better value lies in Pirates winning this derby and collecting all 3 points.
